Polish producer Piotr Papajewski, known as Sun Progress, returns to Big Bells Records with his second appearance on the label. Now based in Germany, he has built a reputation for crafting melodic and progressive house cuts released on imprints such as OLD SQL Recordings, Venge, and Balkan Connection South America. In 2024, his single "Select" appeared on Big Bells & Storytellers, Vol. 05, showing his flair for emotional atmospheres and driving grooves. With Help Me Find My Games, Sun Progress expands on this sound, presenting two tracks that merge storytelling with dancefloor energy.

The EP creates an immersive progressive journey built on steady percussion, warm pads, and shimmering melodic textures. Its emotional tone moves between uplifting and introspective, offering both tension and release. Subtle breakdowns and layered arpeggios keep the listener engaged, while the track's flow makes it equally at home on the dancefloor or in deeper listening sessions.

We're back for November with an EP from South Africa's WAPO Jije! If you're unfamiliar with WAPO's work you can find his music released on some of the regions most prominent Deep House labels. We also just had him on remix duties this past July for DJ Christian Bs "Find My Way EP".

His new EP with us features 2 beautifully deep tracks, "How Deep Can You Go" and 'Grand Rising" that both feature lush pads, catchy melodies and those head nodding bass lines. Clubsonica Radio 028 - Juan Pablo Torrez & guest Dowden

Gary Mac has been a DJ for almost 30 years now, cutting his teeth in the early days of the rave scene in his home country, Northern Ireland. 

He began playing in clubs in various towns and cities across all of Ireland and the UK shortly after that. However, as the late 90's merged into the new century he held not one, but two long term residencies at two of Belfast iconic events at the SAME time, in The Netwerk and Larry's, quite the achievement for anyone..
 
He is currently enjoying being part of the Ubik Events team, one of Northern Ireland's leading underground dance event and promotion teams, made up of a tight bunch of friends, being cleverly steered by Andy Condie. Having started out as just DJ's playing their specialist genres of Trance, Techno and Progressive, the team now book sell out nights hosting the biggest Electronic acts, have also moved into Radio, and even producing their own music.

For our September edition of the Exclusive Series, Gary describes this mix as "Exactly what he would play in a club, if we were able to go clubbing!" We've given him three hours to tell you his story, and as the set unfolds we go from a bright, pacey intro straight into recognisable tracks from recent months.
Theres a lovely uplifting flow as Gary's experience behind the decks keeps the feet shuffling and the body moving nicely. Track selection is key in longer sets, and its easy to see how he kept those two residencies going at the same time, choosing tunes that not only fit perfectly into the mix, but fit perfectly into our ethos of having fun while on the dance-floor too.

This week our journey takes us to the magical country of Australia, and her beautiful people and climate that seem an ideal stop point for finding the freshest underground sounds we can. Its here we find an Ex-Pat doing rather well for himself. From Northern Ireland originally but making big waves down under, ladies and gents give it up... for Mark Craven!!

With an incredible history in the UK & AUS dance music scenes, Northern Irish DJ Mark Craven continues to scale the heights and is one of Sydneys most respected DJs... and for very good reason. Technically perfect, a foolproof knack for reading a room, with expertise lying in the lush surrounds of deep melodic and progressive through to gritty paths of minimal techno.

In 2019 he released on Hernan Cattaneo's SUDBEAT imprint and has remixes out this week on onedotsixtwo and If you wait.

Being such a versatile DJ, Mark holds residencies at Return to Rio and Church of Techno and is annually booked for almost every major Sydney house music festival.
Craven's poignant progressive taste and flow makes him a favourite in the big city!!

Steve Parry is unquestionably at the top of the UK scene, regularly playing along side heavy weights such as John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seamen, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, he is the DJ’s choice of DJ.

Widely respected across the industry, his acclaimed 3 year residency at the iconic Cream in Liverpool, seen him rise to the top, regularly being booked to headline around the world, playing in clubs such as Ministry of Sound and the legendary Space Ibiza.

His ties to his home city of Liverpool are strong, where he managed the world famous 3Beat Records, and as a promoter, Steve had much success, firstly with his legendary ‘Alderaan’ nights which ran from ’97 – 2001 in a room above the infamous Lemon Lounge and helped to shape the very scene Liverpool has become known for to this day.

Now in between touring the world, Steve and long term friend and business partner Dave Seamen head up the Selador label, with many chart toppers under their belt already and many more to come.
