A hauntingly beautiful ambient track that takes you on a journey through the depths of the unknown. The track starts off with a low drone that slowly builds up into a mesmerizing melody that sounds like it's calling out to the void. Finally released in 2007, this EP (excluding the 2 remixes of songs from 1991 album ‘Putting It About’) represents the aftermath of Beats Working’s 2001 Calm album - 4 songs employing epic sounds, big ballads etc. Until 2007 it was not decided whether or not to treat these songs as part of the still yet to be finished (now released) ‘Perspection’ album. This track is also included on the later 'No More Unfinished Tomorrows' album - a compendium and remaster of the 2 EPs 'No More Tomorrows' & 'Unfinished Business'.

You Say by Beats Working (John Hardman)

The Welton Shipwreck is a UK-based rock duo made up of Stu Head and John Culkin. Formed at the start of the 2020 pandemic lockdown period, their songs are written and recorded by means of long-distance collaboration from their homes in Scotland and Yorkshire. The music they make combines elements of shoegaze, post rock, folk and psychedelic.

Stu and John are old friends of over 20 years. Both originally from the Greater Manchester area, they met at university in Leeds in 2000. The band name refers to a street they lived on as students.

Both Stu and John sing, play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums across their various tracks (along with a few less conventional instruments.) They mix and produce all of their own music.
