We are back with Wanderers number 65, this time by the Dutch electronic musician Jony. Her work has a distinct eye for detail, and exists within a unique sonic universe, that will captivate you if you take the time to listen. 'This mix serves as a retrospect on my growth as an electronic musician —and as a person— these past few years. It features a bunch of my modular synth works, as well as tracks by artists that inspired me along the way. An important theme throughout my work is attention. I am deeply fascinated with really small and simple musical/sonic concepts. So I try to focus in, to stay true to that fascination, and convey it in my performances. One sound at a time. I included artists who make me feel like, they too, are in love with something that they simply mean to channel. Like a kid showing you a flower they picked. Enjoy X'

For the newest instalment, i'm really happy to welcome the incredible Brussels-based AliA. The local mainstay is a regular on Kiosk radio and runs her own label - @artisjokrecords. Alyah, better known as AliA,  has an exciting & unique approach to dj'ing. She is known for her blend of contemporary club music with jazz, classical and experimental sounds. 

I find AliA's musical outputs incredibly refreshing - the kind of artist who reminds you what a really good DJ can do - they can present genres & sounds to you that you'd otherwise maybe not typically explore, in a new and exciting way. For her Animix, Alyah has gone for an intensely chill blend of ambient & immersive music, with minimal, glitchy, dub techno, jazz, classical sounds and more.
