Cloudy is an Australian-based DJ, music maker, and label head of the event series/label, HER 他 & SPEED. 

A breathtaking catalyst in the electronic dance music scene, who, hot off the return to Naarm/ Melbourne dancefloors can be found killing audiences with her blend of hard electronic dance music and beautifully delicate trance breakdowns across the most important of underground venues. 

Deciding to celebrate the return of irl raves, Cloudy has recorded this special edition Birthday HER 他 Trancemission.

I recorded this mix as a companion piece to my new self released EP. It was the first time I’d really considered how the track selection compliments the EP and vice versa. Theres been a lot of fantastic music released since the clubs reopened and most of this mix is new stuff I’ve been feeling in the last month or so. The end result is an ode to UK dance music.

Cloudy Ku is a Taiwan-born, Australia-based DJ, Producer and label head of HER 他 @hermusicequality & 速度 @speed_bpm . A breathtaking catalyst in the electronic music scene, her DJ sets bring her sublime soundscapes to the underground music scenes throughout Asia and Australia.

 As a DJ, she fuses her vast love of techno, trance and experimental music into her own unique IDM blend. Ku also hosts a fortnightly radio programme on Hong Kong Community Radio.

Now based in Naarm / Melbourne, Ku is inspired by a different culture and a luscious electronic music scene, continuing the momentum that has earned her the attention of both music fans and international labels alike.

Through her work with HER 他, Ku strives to promote equality in the community for local and international artists through discourse and dance parties, exploring issues of women and gender equality while supporting all who contribute to the music and art communities.

Label, party, mix-series and DJ-duo co-founded by @y-angos and @ritabass

We have two aliases: Strange Interactions (think IDM, dnb, bass, ++) and Strange Attractions (left-field electro, jazz. ++)

Our first label release is coming out July 2022
