This song is the result of a literal roll of the dice.  part of the options for FAWM (February Album Writing Month) is the Story Cube Challenge.  picture dice are rolled, and a song is crafted based on the result.  I received the roll of a gavel, a flashlight, a girl in a hood, and a syringe, with the action of asking a question.  I took some liberties, transforming a girl in a hood to a girl from the hood, and a syringe to be drugs in general.  It's a protest song, angry at the injustice and disproportionate incarceration of minorities and the poor.
