This mix was recorded to celebrate 5000 plays on one of EGO-T mixes on SoundCloud. He asked his followers on Facebook what they would prefer and got a very split answer between doing a slow mix and a more intense mix. So EGO-T decided to go with the more intense first and do a slower next time.

Ego-T (Zenon records) is Tobias Engqvist, born and raised in the small town Västerås in the middle of Sweden. He´s been active as a dj since 1999 and is one of the most respected dark progressive djs in Sweden. Signed on Zenon records 2009. After being signed by Zenon and getting noticed by international promotors he has started shaking dancefloors around Europe as well.  Festivals as O.Z.O.R.A. (Pumpui), Freqs Of Nature, Psychedelic Circus, Transylvania Calling and Swedens only legal psy/progressive festival Genesis Festival.

He is also the founder of party organizations as “Nexus Nimbus”, “The Wicked Crew” and also the club “Club Demented” in his former hometown with his very close friend Mikael Kalliomäki. Currently located in Stockholm and in full focus on a new project called “Spontandansens Främjande”, a organization created by a bunch of close friends with the same mental disorders, focusing on Progressive and Zenon-style events.  Besides the interest in parties, music and grooving, Tobias is an audio engineer and got a diploma degree from SAE Institute.

SubConsciousMind started making music in 1997, with no musical or technical experience and having no one to ask, he started to teach himself everything he needed to know by simply tweaking till it sounded like music. Since then he has released many albums and carefully developed his own edgy and characteristic style.

His music is unique, not only in its style but also in its intensity. From the first tone it takes the listener onto an unpredictable trip into an inner world, where moods, emotions and pictures melt into a colorful and complex artwork. Each song is a story with several movements and when a musical journey is over, the listener may suddenly awake in a different state.. shaked, touched and definitly a little more "complete".

As for the style: SubConsciousMind doesn't like the categorisation of music by styles. His opinion is, that music should be categorized by its effect not by its style. Nevertheless this much about style: scm's music has predominantly electronic roots and is very melodic. As for the effect: It is hypnotic, it may make you want to dance, it expresses genuine emotion, it leads into an inner world. Some people like it to dance, others just to sit and dream.
