An experimental rework made for my friend Mari Safir @marisafir, featuring lyrics from her latest release "God". 

Started as a usual techno remix, this work led to the idea of making a completely new poetic text from the original vocals, amplified by stripped-down arrangement and playing with the sense of time. Written in the spring of 2022, laid low until the last months, waiting for us to give it a life. A foreshadow of longing which was yet to come then.

This album was born from several spontaneous impovisations — as the reflection on emigration experience, rejection, uncertainty, grief of parting with the past, and constant process of finding new ways and reactualizing values. Recorded in Tbilisi in November 2023.

Track "Elia (Improvisation)" was played and recorded with Vera Aksenova.

A couple of weeks ago my artist name got stolen by a company from India naming their new AC: "Lloyd Stellar". So apparently i am an air conditioner now? When you search for Lloyd Stellar, you get all types of flashy commercials for their product.

This free album is my little protest against the company taking my name. Hopefully people that search for their product end up with my music in stead of the other way around. The old switcheroo!
