We finished the 2014 festival season with a beautiful weekend in Deerfields, North Carolina, jamming with the lovely T.O.U.C.H. Samadhi family. We had a killer time!! Thanks to everyone who made the weekend so special and totally unforgettable. From the crew to the dancers to the adorable baby goats & the glorious sunshine throughout the weekend – that was just PERFECT.

Live Set for DI.FM’s Psychill Channel – 5th Annual Winter Solstice Event 2014

Winter solstice weekend is always such a quiet and beautiful time in the northern hemisphere :: the trees are bare, the cold is settling in, celebrations kick in, and we anticipate months of hibernation ahead.  

For the 5th year now, Digitally Imported Psychill (http://www.di.fm/psychill) has filled this weekend with incredible beauty and energy from some of the best psychill DJs and producers from around the globe. We were so grateful to have been invited to take part in this amazing virtual party for the second year running! What a total blast this weekend was ☺ Thanks to everyone who took part – it was just killer. 

The set we created was one of our most challenging… but we think that after a lot of rehearsals and energy, it has come out as one of our best. See what you think and let us know!

Winds from the East

"Psychedelic Outreach in Philly" ~ ~ because that's just what we did last Friday from a radio studio on the outskirts of the city of brotherly LoVE. 

This SuKhush session is a live recording for a totally new, psychedelically naive audience. We wanted to give them a dose of our favourites ~ so, lots of friends' compositions in this set ~ but we couldn't overwhelm them with the intensity, so we pulled back and brought in a some lighter moments as well :-) 

It took us a minute to get settled so excuse the distortion on that beautiful first track! And overall we recommend lowering the source volume justttt a touch because of the high level in the studio.

The sleepy energy of winter is shifting into brighter vibes of spring here in Brooklyn :: what better time to rev up the kundalini with a little psychedelic sound experiment? We included some new beauties as well as some old favorites in this set, to gently bring up the kundalini energy with the right balance of novelty, familiarity & ~ of course ~ psychedelic frequencies. We hope you enjoy the mellow booM!

Interweaving Eastern-influenced psychedelic grooves with all types of beats, SuKhush is all about keeping the boom original and powerful. Moving the dancefloor is a priority, no matter what the tempo. 

"SuKhush" is a Sanskrit word meaning complete contentment – a sentiment beyond joy or happiness. SuKhush strives to generate that feeling through its performances and sets, laying down sounds ranging from ambient, chill-out, psychill & downtempo to more upbeat progressive, darkprog, psystep & global grooves.
