RAW SOUL stands for authentic and raw sound from a variety of genres. As music is our crew's steady companion, we can't help but spend a huge amount of time with it.  Be it crate digging or seeking inthe history of house music - we are always looking for new impulses and the next big record.  Out aim is to unite the spirit of the organic roots of house music - talking about Jazz, Funk, Soul -  with modern House and Techno grooves from the underground movement. PSYCHO THRILL Cologne-founder CLAUS BACHOR is one of the German long-term House and Techno DJs at all, and as friends in Detroit say "he's been doing this as long as anybody else that we know! His sets can range from classic Disco & old school House classics all the way to the darkest, bangin' techno that you've ever heard!" However, he's not standing still yet: The Psycho Thrill club and vinyl label run by him has just turned 25 and Bachor is still doing bookings all over Europe, the United States and beyond. 

His long-term affiliations with Detroit techno music and also his journalistic involvement with the topic of Detroit Techno/ Electro/ Chicago-House as an author/editor over the years has made him a world renowned expert. This experience and vast knowledge of the techno genre has led him to appearing in many documentaries, the most noteable being 'High Tech Soul' [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddh88l_57Bk ] which focused on the creation of Detroit techno music. Other film credits include being involved in the highly acclaimed 'We Call it Techno' [ https://www.discogs.com/Various-We-Call-It-Techno/release/1388974   //   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWPFrWojYQ4 ] documentary which focused on Germany's early techno scene and club culture. 

Without using the usual hype for trends, he has managed to gain a position as multi-communicator in the German Techno and House scene, in which he is always convincing as a DJ.

Dear friends!
Not everyone knows but Baran Records is an independent Ukrainian label created in 2010 by two music diggers from Ukraine Pavlo and Maxim. Initially started just for fun, after working on our own stuff we slowly expanded our catalogue releasing undiscovered soviet/post-soviet music artifacts, most of which originated from russia.
Even after the 2014 annexation of Crimea and ruZZian invasion of Donbas we still signed on a handful of russian artists hoping that music is the universal language which connects like-minded people and manifests their peaceful coexistence on this planet.
But 24 February of 2022 was a final point of no return. 
From now on, instead of music, creativity, arts and culture, all things ruZZian will be remembered as war crimes and atrocities, blood, pain, rape, violence and murder of innocent Ukrainian people. There is no forgiveness for this. 
Considering everything said above we decided to halt our label's operation for an indefinite period of time and to stop our sales after 30th of June 2022.
Also we will not sign up or support any ruZZian artists in the future if we resume our activity. They produce shit today anyway.
But don't worry, this is not the end. Out tiny underground label is not going anywhere. After the war is over we will figure out what our next steps will be since we still love music and there is plenty to be done.
