My main styles are soundtrack, orchestral, lo-fi, and weird experimental music.

Self thought composer, inspired mainly by Hiroyuki Sawano, Hans Zimmer, Kohta Yamamoto, and Michael Giachino.

Started back in 2020 making music on my phone in bandlab, moved to FL studio in 2021, and from then kept composing trying to get better and to be able to put on paper my ideas, currently planing on starting to study music on a college.

11/4/24: New song is out (on SC only right now), and EP4 is pending release to all platforms. 

To make this bio, Moe Kim read some other SoundCloud bios and saw that they were written in the third person, so he figured when in Rome. He picked up the guitar when he was 16 years old because he wanted to play for his church. He thinks there's some influence there in his music. He even recorded some songs back then, but they weren't that good so he didn't try much to share them. He took a long break from music when he was in surgery residency. Once he graduated, he practiced for a few years but ultimately left the field to focus more on himself and his family. 

It took him many years to complete, but he was finally able to release his first EP this past February. The song “Ask or Tell” took the longest to make, with several iterations over the years, mostly because he (still) doesn't know how to sing. The other songs were written the year leading up to release. 

He's released two EPs since then of new material, and he hopes to just keep making more and more songs and connecting with cool people who love music. Starting in EP2 he felt more confident in his singing and added more layers and harmonies. EP3 was just about sad stuff, he doesn't know why it's just what comes out so he goes with it. 

His favorite bands include RHCP, Guster, Dispatch, Wilco, and RKS. His favorite songwriters are Elliott Smith, Phoebe Bridgers and Alex G. He plays guitar mostly, and whatever else to finish his songs. He writes and mixes songs alone in his basement because it's cool and quiet in there. He lives in the Midwest USA with his wife, daughter, dog, two cats, and a hamster. 

A lot of his album art features artwork by his daughter. His wife also sang the vocal sample in “Hanging On” but she hates hearing her own voice so she won't do that very often. They are also his braintrust and must approve his songs prior to release.
