here is the Set that I played last Saturday on the Acid Bogen Floor at Kater Blau. My urge to play downtempo grew a lot the past time. I was missing this deep vibe, that is not obviously pushing you, but welcomes you with open arms, so you can fall, fall, fall. So I tried to stay on one of my favorite Tempos "109BPM" unfolding the vibe not with faster tempo, but only deeper and deeper music. And boy it worked. Thanks so much to everyone on the floor for being so open and letting go so much to create this free, gutturally boisterous vibe on the floor together. It was really magical <3

As promised we are back on a regular basis. Having heard Xia Ke's live mixes earlier this year, it was a matter of time before we heard some slow tech grooves blended with some moody downtempo basslines on the channel. Founder of the wicked label Autumn Equinox (@autumnequinoxlabel), Xia Ke knows all about discovering the hidden gems within niche genres of electronic music and once you click play and just let yourself ride along on his musical journey, you will discover something fresh, new and in simple words bad ass! What is different about this mix is that it starts fast paced and slows down as you go along. 

When it comes to putting a "type" of music to Xia's style it would be along the lines of "orientempo" as described by himself where he experiments with a soundscape that is unique to him. It would be hard to classify with any current downtempo sub genre, which is exactly why we love it as it is different. It was that time of the year, when the days were short and there was speak of the new year, when she felt that the worlds of the living and the dead were particularly close together. She could more easily shift forms, times and spaces and, in that process, could carry with her more of her magic than usual. 
It was in this space that she felt so blessed with love for all beings and non-beings on Earth that she wanted to brew a special spell to be sent out into the worlds on the eve of the new year. She used the best ingredients: all of her favourite tracks that express the full spectrum of love and emotion. She put them together and sent them out with intention, so that the next year would be filled with a bit more love for everyone. 

It was wonderful starting the new year with the lovely Lush crew @dualism, and the wonderful @eve1-lyn, @matijasound, @rkjvk. And not to forget my love @ditolove!
