Boomtown is the Bass music project of Laughlin Meagher (AKA DJ Desunos). Through his work as a live musician & community organizer, electronic music has become a natural evolution for this dynamic performer. With 20 years on stage & 7 behind the decks, Boomtown knows how to rock an audience and is well known for his impecable taste in music, his harmonica solos, skill on the melodica, live MCing, vocals, guitar, percussion and Live FX. Boomtown is producing electronic music and remixes in Ableton Live, and plans to release an E.P. by the fall of 2014. Boomtown spent 2013 Touring North America with Kytami performing live DJ sets at over 14 festivals, 7 US States, 5 Provinces and countless clubs and venues. Crossing many genres, Laughlin has shared the stage with local and international acts including Adham Shaikh, Kaminanada, David Starfire, Chris Hatfield, Timothy Wisdom, Gaudi, Liquid Stranger, Delhi to Dublin, Shane Philip, LTJ Bookum, DJ SS, Kytami, Trevor Moontribe, Andrew Interchill, Random Rab, JFB, DJ Nils and many more. 
Boomtown's debut performance was from his self propelled dj booth on the back of his bike while Gooseballin at a Random location somewhere outside of Victoria BC.
DJ Boomtown plans to always be preceded by gratuitous laser light shows...

The word "clique" is used to describe a group of 2 to 12 "persons who interact with each other more regularly and intensely than others in the same setting". "re" represents Rhys & Erik. They "clicked" in 2009 with some CD-j's and some tracks. 

re_Click brings an enormous ball of energy to wherever they go. Energy driven techno, tech-house w/ baselines, peak hour minimal, and deep sounds that make you lose yourself can attempt to sum up this friendly duo's style of music. re_Click has played all over Vancouver Island at VEMF, Hush, Temple, Sunset, Diehard and Adventure Island. 2013 hosts the first year for re_Click to play in Vancouver for Subspec Music. 

Production has been the name of the game recently, with the duo's first release with RAFH - Unleash the Kraken on Subspec Music (Vancouver) out for sale on all major online music stores. 2013 has promises of a re_Click EP with new tracks and remixes of "UTK". If you thought there wasn't a techno scene on the far west coast, then find these guys, and you will find what you were looking for.
