Mood Series #50! We are ecstatic about reaching this milestone and we want to give you all a very sincere thank you for supporting and enjoying the music this series has brought. Polish artist Clefomat brings 2021 to a close with our least release for the calendar year. Titled '29th AWW' it is a special dedication to his family, his twin daughters Agata & Wiktoria born on April 29th early this year and his wife Weronika. 'AWW1' takes us right to the dancefloor with an upbeat and melodic that verges on a deep tech house club sound. Part 2 is no doubt a peak time techno track to rock a party. Part 3 takes things a little more minimal combining true dub elements at a more relaxed pace finding the groove within. Part 4 adds a hypnotic house touch to this version while still keeping it in the primetime slot of any pumping tech set. Sick chords working overtime here! All 4 tracks have strong purposes on the dancefloor and equally as hypnotic in the brain. Mood Series #50 closes 2021 in a euphoric peak.

Inspired by the 80’s anime series Ulysses 31, Parallel’s Seven Close Suns EP dives into themes of space and technology. Incorporating sounds from the series, arranged over driving Italo bass lines and bouncing hi-hats, the London based producer delivers 4 original tracks. Birds remixes the title track, with a post-punk, new wave twist, merging her vocals over the top for her typical sound.

It were as if he’d been dancing all his life – never had he ever imagined it might be this easy, this freeing and this wild. The music played loudly and bounced from wall to wall as each person smiled and moved in synchronised unison. It was care free, it was sexy, it was everything.

The red lights flickered and flashed, illuminating the glowing, magnificent features of each and every character in the room. They all had a story and a tale to tell – their each and every movement was how he would teach himself to know them and they would do similarly.

Guided by the belief that the smallest sounds often make the biggest noise, Frame/Frame plumbs the natural soundscape for his debut album, ‘Driftwood’, a carefully crafted distillation of his own experiences and experiments with electronic music and beyond.

There is beauty to be found even in the prosaic— creaking oars form the undulating rhythm of the title track, the bassline on ‘3 am at Magfields’ is a rasping door, a whistle recorded in the bathroom becomes a compelling hook in ‘U.N.I.’, while kitchen utensils sup- ply the rousing percussion in ‘High Ceilings’.

‘Driftwood’ is an invitation to move, to breathe, to smile, to see the world with the clarity that only a 4 am dance-floor epiphany can provide.

The next expression by Hunt & Gather label founder and House music raconteur Pezzner. In his latest tale Pezzner, ever the eclecticist and vanguard, transcribes grandiose orchestral expression, Broadway vocal jazz, exalted post-disco, and Balearic tones into a format that we can all gather and dance to.

This is 'Sunrising' and it comes accompanied by two reinterpretations: a propellant electric disco romp by label partner Doza, and a sterling but jovial expression by Deep House legend (and our dear friend) Fred Everything. This release is capped off by Pezzner's playful and flowing reperformance of Herb Alpert's dancefloor classic 'Rise'.  The artwork was created by Robbie Busch, DC Comics writer and penciler.
