Everyone loves a banging remix, and here at Lifestyle we’re no different. Historically one of the most fun & exciting projects to put together, we’re back with the third edition of our Lifestyle Remixed series!

It’s a pretty simple recipe: we take bangers, give them to some sick producers, who turn them into further bangers; it’s sick, and the results are always fantastic. Previous editions have seen some god-tier combinations: Zero T & Revaux, Ill Truth & Lockjaw, and Signal & Vorso, to name but a few.

For this edition, we’ve plumbed our catalogue for a mixture of deep cuts and stand-out bangers, and got some of our favourite producers to break them into bits and build them back up again. The tracklist speaks for itself, but it’s got to be heard to be believed! We’ve got Wingz remixing Black Barrel, Revaux taking on dutch newcomer DOt., the mighty Black Barrel reworking the breakout banger ‘Africa’, the boy wonder himself remixing Nami’s iconic ‘Inside ft 'Lo’, Fre4knc taking on an Objectiv banger, as well as Danger’s competition-winning remix of ‘Vermin’. Bossman Animus twists up Revaux & Charli Brix’s ‘Colours’, one of our biggest tunes from 2018 getting a seriously brucked out edit, and Belgian badboys Glÿph take Nami’s ’Shake The Universe’ to truly galactic planes, wicked.

As well as all that, to celebrate ten years as a label, we’ve also reached all the way back to LFS020, and got Synth Ethics & Was A Be to team up, reworking Viscera by Ed:it - updating the banger 7.5 years after it’s initial release! Crafting it into a big, stinky stepper, beautiful stuff.

You can probably imagine the program; it’s all kept pretty dark & dangerous this time round, complex bass design leaks out all over the shop, and there’s not much relenting from start to finish, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Some of these have been doing the rounds a bit, causing absolute carnage whenever we play them out, some of them are brand spanking new, but we think you’ll agree they’re all hurters. It’s been an absolute joy to put together this release, so we hope you like hearing it as much as we’ve liked making it!

We presented Serbian producer Arxiva on our last release and now he is here to gain his place in the roster with this incredible reference that has it source on the most modern tech design of the actual dnb development. An ear piercing bit with sinister synths that will wrap you up on the vibe!

You might not recognise the name but you will have definitely heard Surgence in the past. He operates under the name Bazil and has been a member of Dreadzone for over 10 years. Here he settles into his latest alias with these special pre-release tracks on Dublin label inHabit. Mood Planet and Isolate VIP carry his dub stylings but hit with a much heavier, techier bedrock. With influences ranging from Stakka and Skynet, Konflict, Virus recordings, Teebee to name a few. Expect his own take on this sound ranging from deep, dark, atmospheric, funk & tech-step DnB. 
First release on Subplate recordings was out May 10th 2019, shortly followed by his Shapeshift EP on Voyage music supported by SkankandBass and dnbdojo.
