Otoria is Vincent Seguin, a French producer who took his first steps in music as a member of a Paris-based DJ collective playing in some of the most iconic clubs of the capital, such as Showcase and Chez Papillon. He left the turntables behind when he moved to the USA for studies before settling in New York, where he immersed himself in the city’s underground dance music scene. Those musical encounters nurtured in him a greater appreciation for the cyclical and industrial patterns of techno but at the heart of his songwriting lies a strong, deep-rooted affection for expressive melodies and harmonies. With a musical identity significantly shaped by the two major music cities of Paris and New York, Otoria’s sound is distinctly cosmopolitan and a fresh addition to the world of electronic music.

Otoria’s SRNDR debut, “Reminiscence”, typifies his signature sound. Treading the line between progressive house and melodic techno, the strength of the track lies in its ability to be both energetic yet beautifully contemplative. Featuring arpeggiator bassline and synths that drive it forward without being overly confrontational, and restrained melodic leads that, by their accordion-esque quality give the track a distinctly French flavour, “Reminiscence” is bound to evoke melancholia and deep emotions.

He then fell for techno inspired by the works of artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Stephan Bodzin and Sam Paganini. De Novellis started producing at the age of 17 and has been making music since, with a sound that blurs the line between progressive house and techno, and is typified by dark, energetic sounds and melodies that stir both the senses and emotions.

De Novellis returns with the third and last of a trilogy of introspective works that collectively provide an insight into his inner workings and a narrative of his life. The first two, "Tension" and “Noir”, were reflective of the struggles that he has had to endure and overcome in his life. "Innocence" offers an altogether contrasting tone, focusing on the purity that exists within all of us, from the innocence of children to the goodness of people. It celebrates the pure joy and happiness that comes with pursuing one's love and passion, and anything that comes from the heart. The track features a more driving rhythm and a beefier kick than in his previous releases, but retains the emotive melodies and sense of atmosphere and drama. The arpeggiated harp-like topline is a particular highlight - light, airy but with a sense of melancholy, making for a delightful counterpoint to the solid low-ends.

JCLD are Belgian DJ/producers Josh Love and Christian Desnoyers, both experienced stalwarts of dance music having been DJ-ing and producing since the 1980s. The pair met while working for Belgian radio station Warm FM but only began collaborating as producers this year. Both are prolific artists in their own right: Josh Love has DJ-ed at the biggest clubs in Europe, sharing the stage with some big names such as Marco Bailey, Toni Rios, Stanny Franssen, Oliver Giacomotto and more, and released over a hundred productions, gaining strong support from massive names such as Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Dave Angel and more. Desnoyers too has been prolific, with releases on renowned labels such as Heaven Records and 541 Records, as well as winning remix contests for various artists. As a duo, the pair produce classic tech-house music that has a distinct original school flavour, with warm, chunky beats, jacking basslines and organic elements that are make the tracks perfect for the dancefloor.

JCLD’s first release on SRNDR Records is a jackin' tech-house track called 'Badalogo'. Designed to be the kind of track that would rock a pool party, the track features a jacking bassline over crisp percussive beats, a beautiful saxophone topline and a vocal sample that is as classic house as they come. A great track to close the summer, especially for fans of original school tech-house and labels such as Wave Music, Junior Recordings and more.

Alexander Bollinger is a German melodic house producer based in Switzerland, where he has called home for over 15 years. He began his musical journey as a grunge musician in the late 80s before later discovering his love for electronic music. Like most adults, work and life took over and for a couple of decades, music became less of a priority. Now as he approaches the magic 50 and following a life-altering burnout, Alexander’s priorities have shifted. Rediscovering his love and passion for electronic music, Alexander picked up the craft of production, honing his skills by watching YouTube videos and through exchanges with other producers. And now he is ready to stir up a musical storm from his studio in his village home just outside of Zurich. 

Alexander’s sophomore release on SRNDR Records is an atmospheric deep house beauty that makes for a perfect end-of-summer soundtrack. Characterised by lush, warm pads, melodic guitar and piano leads, and emotive, lo-fi vocals samples, the track exemplifies the producer's wonderful ability to create music that is moving and tells a story. The highlight of the track is an arrangement that builds slowly and surely, crescendoing in a stirring lead that will surely take listeners back to their best summer romances.

Dan Kashtan is a producer/musician based in Tel Aviv, whose musical identity is shaped around his desire to express specific life experiences and convey a sense of spirituality through melody and sound design. Kashtan’s debut on SRNDR is “Take Me Back”, an atmospheric melodic techno beauty that features stunningly crafted arpeggiated synths and an arrangement that takes listeners on a beautifully emotive journey. The track recalls a particular moment while travelling in Southeast Asia, aboard a yacht, surrounded by like-minded others who were there to live the moment, with good music, an open bar, a reddish sunset and everything else that makes a moment truly unforgettable. While writing the track, Kashtan drew inspiration from photos of that experience to capture the thrill of a journey full of mystery and beauty, in sound.

Principally inspired by the soulful sounds of Masters at Work and Blaze, the 'Pre-Flight Soul Rub' beautifully showcases Missouri-based singer Robin White's glorious vocals over stunning piano work by Los Angeles' Jonah Wei-Haas. The 'Tribute to Moroder Mix', as its name suggests, pays tribute to the legendary Giorgio Moroder and his seminal arpeggiated bassline and offers a more driving interpretation of the theme. SRNDR Records’ second release is the lead single from Singaporean producer, Saiful Idris’ upcoming album, “Fragments”. “Memories” is a deep house track that is anchored on the themes of loss and heartbreak, with haunting and melancholic melodies that tug at the heartstrings. Up-and-coming Czech DJ and producer, Jaded Prysmo joins the SRNDR Records stable with an EP comprising two gloriously original school tech-house tracks. 'Cities' recalls the sounds of Matthias Heilbronn and New York's Wave Music circa 2000, with a jackin' groove anchored on a funky bassline, and a sweet saxophonic surprise during the break. 'Work My Body', written and produced by Jaded Prysmo and fellow-Czech collaborator Filip Longa, builds upon a dark and menacing bassline, with sounds and elements inspired by Chicago house and Detroit techno.

Jaded Prysmo is a 19-year old DJ and producer from the Czech Republic, and one of the leading lights of the Liberec underground club scene. Principally inspired by the people and sounds of that scene, as well as DJ/producers such as Mark Knight, Fisher and Claptone, his productions cut across the spectrum of house music, ranging from deep funky house to tech-house.

“Sunday Morning” marks the debut of Canadian and South African production duo, Individualist, on SRNDR Records and typifies their Afro-acoustic, deep house sound. The track is truly a meeting of worlds, with lush synths and electronic textures overlaying jazzy guitar licks, raw organic beats and a throbbing analog bassline. A track that would appeal for purveyors of the deeper end of the house spectrum and fans of Osunlade, Karizma, Jullian Gomes, Dennis Ferrer and the likes.

Individualist is an Afro-acoustic, deep house production duo based in Halle (Saale), Germany. Comprising Wayne from South Africa and Rob from Canada, the duo met by chance in front of the latter’s studio and decided to make electronic music together, before evolving into a proper live group and production duo. Their music is characterised by colourful, swinging house beats with deep roaring basses, earthy acoustic instruments and glitchy sonic landscapes - a culmination of Wayne’s deep roots in South African house music and Rob’s background in music studies and passion for raw analogue sounds. The beats and bass are created on an analog synth, while the guitars, keys, harmonica and vocals are recorded live, resulting in raw and honest house music with a decidedly indie aesthetic and a sound that is uniquely their own. Prolific producers, the duo have released dozens of tracks on various labels in Germany, Switzerland and the USA, including collaborations with the likes of FKA Mash and Tahir Jones.

Stranger Souma’s debut on SRNDR is a deep, melodic techno treat, with a percussive surprise that recalls the celebrated sounds of DJ Gregory and Julien Jabre. “All About Her” is a self-portrait, the first of a series of personal explorations into her identity and ontology. 

A native of Casablanca, Morocco, Stranger Souma’s musical journey started off with her learning to play multiple instruments. Enthralled by the advent and possibility of technology in music, she soon evolved into the respected DJ and producer that she is today, crafting a signature sound that is deep, minimal but decidedly soulful and spiritual, a tribute to the old soul of North Africa. Her influences are vast and varied, including Paul Kalkebrenner, Jeff Mills, Nicolas Jaar, Miss Kittin and more. Aside from being a DJ and producer, she is also co-founder of Moroccan-based record label, Volubilian Records, through which she actively champions the region's unique musical heritage, as well as greater opportunities for its female artists.

“Brotherhood”, is a progressive house tune that features a driving rhythm section and is led by a euphonious guitar topline. Add to those tastefully curated blares, textures and synth arpeggiators and you get a melodic journey that celebrates the sounds of early trance and progressive house.

Hailing from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Jonathan Touch is a DJ and producer who began writing music in 2009 as one half of the Holyboyz, producing a discography of tech house and progressive house tunes. A music graduate, he has been honing craft for over a decade, bringing his music to China and across Russia, and regularly organising open air dance parties back home. Based in Pennsylvania, USA, Mananov began obsessively listening to electronic music in the early 2000s, mainly indulging in trance and legendary electronic powerhouses such as The Prodigy and Daft Punk. In the late 2000s, he discovered progressive house and specifically, artists such as deadmau5, Adam K and ARTY, which inspired him to begin his journey as an electronic music producer. He honed his songwriting and production skills on FruityLoops by hitting File>Export every night, pumping out track after track for practice. Eventually he made the switch to Ableton Live and with that, what started out as a hobby became a serious endeavour.

As an artist, Mananov is driven to create the kind of music that he loves, music that instills deep emotion in its listener. His songs are both spiritual and soulful, and the intent is to produce music that is both emotive and driving - the kind that would make a perfect accompaniment for a reflective late night drive. His SRNDR debut, ’Soul Nexus’, is a prime example of his style. Featuring a dynamic arrangement that takes the listener through the highest of peaks and most contemplative of troughs, the track showcases Mananov’s trance roots, with lush, ethereal pads, beautifully melodic keys and uplifting synth arpeggiators, all floating above a hard-hitting, driving rhythm section. In typically dichotomous fashion, ’Soul Nexus’ is definitely a track that will induce both euphoria and melancholy.

Filip Grönlund presents 'The Rhythm', a dark, trippy, classic tech-house banger that recalls the early electronic explorations of the likes of Inner City, Pete Heller and more. This beautifully-crafted track typifies his signature style and ability to seamlessly bring together the old-school tech-house and classic, soulful disco sounds and will be sure to light up any dancefloor. At 7 minutes and 33 seconds, this is a slow-burner that is definitely not safe for Spotify but is full of sonic surprises that keep listeners on their toes and dancers on their feet.

Filip Grönlund's musical journey started at home in Stockholm, Sweden. The son of classical musicians, Grönlund grew up listening to his mother's disco records and was mesmerised by the soulful vocals of the disco divas of the 70's and 80's. His love for soul, funk and disco music led to him discovering house music during the late 90's and early 00's, and eventually becoming a DJ. Inspired by producers such as Mark Knight, Paul Woolford and Marc Kinchen, and with a good sense for what works on the dancefloor, Grönlund produces tracks that steer in the direction of house, deep house and tech house, with an unmistakable predisposition towards the original school. His productions are characterised by driving beats, thoughtful melodies and soulful elements that harken back to a time when disco reigned supreme.

“Eimri” is a percussive, progressive house track that recalls the tribal, electronic explorations of Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Heller & Farley, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and more. Driven by muscular percussions and a guttural, menacing bassline, the track glides through its peaks and troughs with atmospheric synths tastefully punctuated by elements that are both textural and melodic. The in-your-face aesthetic of the track hides a more sentimental purpose - a song written in tribute to a loved one.

Azhuko is Aivaras Ažukaitis, a producer from Lithuania who developed a passion for music production from very early on. His pursuit of music learning culminated in a BA in Music Technology, which equipped him with the technical mastery and industry knowledge to realise his passion as an artist and music producer. Despite multiple releases in different styles, under different guises and working with different record labels, he struggled to find a clear identity and sound, which led to him taking a break from music. Now, several years on, he has found clarity and a musical style that brings inner peace, and is back and as determined as ever to fulfil his musical calling. His productions toe the line between melodic techno and progressive house, and are typified by heavy basslines and an artillery of dark rhythmic elements spliced with aggressive and sometimes uplifting melodies.
