Phil's moving to Florida, so we decided to mix our mojo together before he left. We had absolutely no idea what was going to come out when we sat down to start recording/writing, but it turned out to be an amazing journey that led us into a fantasy of funk, soul, and rhythm & blues. These tracks are the most fun to make and I'm looking forward to doing more.

Ghost Limb

This is an experimental story/song Me and Danny wrote/recorded the other night. You definitely need the background idea to fully appreciate it:
Walking alone on a dark and cold mountain, you stumble upon a wounded wolf
laying in the snow. You decide to wrap it up, throw it in the back of the truck, drive it far away and bury it. While burying the wolf, you look closer at his body, then his face, his eyes. Slowly the familiarity becomes apparent, it is your body, your face, your eyes. The wounded predator you are burying alive, is you.

All theatrics aside, we didn't really have a purpose behind writing this, other than having fun with experimental writing lyrically, and musically. A lot of the audio was reversed, stretched, copied and pasted, or otherwise messed with. Bottom line, it was just fun, so we wanted to share it with friends.
