We are delighted to have @belaria for our 80th episode of Syntop Audio. Belaria joined the gender / generation mixed label & collective Friendsome, in 2018 and since then have made her way up the ladder of the french electronic music scene and beyond.
Her style is truly unique, going from Italo-Disco to EBM and Dark Disco, and her biggest source of inspiration remains in New Wave and Synth Pop.

Syntop Audio 80 - Belaria

Italo-Dark Disco / Tech House / Techno / Trance

Julien, alias JuBox, débute la musique dès son plus jeune âge, par une formation classique au conservatoire. 
 
Depuis une dizaine d’années, c’est pourtant les musiques électroniques, et la techno plus particulièrement, qui le passionnent.
 
Dinosaure nocturne voulant tout découvrir, devenu techno-toqué, JuBox vit pour les musiques électroniques et, il y a 5 ans, commence à mixer. Il envisage alors ses mixes comme des ponts entre différents genres, pouvant à la fois mêler house, tech house, italo, dark disco, techno mentale, mais aussi trance dans un même set. 
 
Profondément influencé par les sets progressifs et les pépites mélodiques de Laurent Garnier, mais aussi par l’efficacité de Jennifer Cardini pour retourner un dancefloor, affectionnant les grands écarts de BPM, il garde en ligne de mire l'énergie que dégagent tant le son que les gens. 
 
N’hésitez pas à traverser avec JuBox les passerelles musicales qu’il propose pour vous faire taper du pied toute la nuit.

Avec ses amis Arthur et Olivier, ils fondent CLUB2050, un collectif pour imaginer la fête du futur.

Friendsome is a record label and collective aiming to bring joy and happiness to one and all. We are all different but together we stand as one. Old and young, women and men, we are citizens but we are tropical, we like the hard beats
of Acid and the happiest grooves of Disco,
still we’re together. Together as one.

 — We believe in equality between genders – our releases will always alternate between different genders artists, and line ups of our events are always equal too.
 — We believe in transgenerational acts, therefore we will release EPs, singles, albums, compilation and collabs by artists of all ages, established and unknown – same with the line ups.
 — We believe in helping one another in these particular times. We are working with different NGOs and associations
for every releases and events, aiming to donate 20% of all benefits.
