Dayna Seraye is a teacher and facilitator of personal transformation, guiding individuals and teams to greater awareness, resilience and connection. 

Her toolbox of transformative practices include relational skills, therapeutic embodiment techniques, earth-based wisdom and her decades of experience leading groups. 

She is a Senior Course Leader and Director of Leadership and Facilitator Training for ART International where she educates and trains participants in the skills of authentic relating, emergent leadership and group facilitation. 

She is also a Relational Coach, working with individuals and couples to uncover and heal blindspots, amplify conscious communication and transform conflict into intimacy and connection. 

Her passion is to co-create regenerative cultures where humans live in right relationship with self, others and the whole of life.

In this episode, John and Eva reflect on the challenge and importance of taking responsibility for our own pain and discomfort while being in a relationship.

The episode begins with Eva sharing a personal and raw moment that unfolded after returning from an ancestral workshop in her homeland, the Czech Republic.  What started with a beautiful connection to her Slavic roots turned into an overwhelming wave of ancient pain that consumed her body and heart.  The pain was bigger and older than anything she knows herself to be.  

Eva speaks with John about the physicality of this “pain body” and they touch on how easy it is in a relationship to want to rescue each other in difficult personal moments.  John shares his personal challenges with a savior complex, and the courage it takes to stay rooted while holding space. 

This is a touching conversation about reclaiming power, seeing old patterns clearly, and practicing the ancient art of living with pain — an art that makes space for both self and others.
