Amidst a field of reeds
where wind fills every hollow
I stand placed between white and white

Repetition without difference,
Separation without boundary

What remains, whole,
is the shadow of darkness
leaning on the sun

A shape of absence
that exists through leaning

When all wind ceases
beneath the shroud that descends
the stagger of crowds or a collective sway
trembles with a single weight

A stilling of sense
or a collective erasure

And then once more stillness

Facing each other
having forgotten every face
countless eyes remain

With a silent answer
I gaze into myself

군중 혹은 집단의 비틀거림이
한 점 무게로 흔들리는 것을 바라본다

감각의 정지,
혹은 집단적 소거

그리고 다시 멈춤

서로의 얼굴을 잊은 채 마주한
무수한 눈동자

말 없는 대답으로
나는 나를 응시한다

Knocking on different doors

Weave into unfamiliar tongues

끝내 닿지 못한 소리들이

The resonance of a vibration

When a nameless tremor

Covering the flames in my eyes,
a surface descends into stillness

Countless threads embroidered
with things that do not exist

Yet the wind walked across it,
and saw a single tremor
willingly give itself away

Beneath the shade, the nameless
stitch each other’s bodies
to endure the hours until nightfall

Forgetting always began in silence,
and the lightest things lingered the longest

From within the eye
that once held fire,
I drew out shards of a moon
no dawn had ever reached

And on them,
a lost word
was laid like a shallow breath

A shower of breath falls
on a rock rooted deep
in the midst of dense foliage

Darkness remembers
the deep wrinkles etched into the earth

A white breath
rises
as if collapsing
against the grain of flesh

Between the fracture of light
and the rupture of shadow,
a gesture dwells
in the space, or the gap

It does not walk

Upon the absent face
upon the expression older than death
light quietly settles

A tremor of seething oblivion

Not movement
but stillness
awaiting movement

It was never born
and so nothing was lost

It dances
with the weight of loss

Like a silenced hush
beneath thick foliage,
like the gesture of a flower
that could not bloom

Between the earlier tremor
and the pulse of absence

Transparent Sprint

Finite space, holding infinite expansion,
unaware of where
only stillness becomes movement

Rising, breaking, scattering
when I reach the entrance of an endless maze,
my palms slowly lose their light

The light cannot vanish
it streams like a transparent river
scattering, far away

Emptiness bursts like stars, spreading out
and in the debris
I grope for a nameless direction

At the end of the endless maze,
a slow shimmer scatters,
remnants that even light could not lose
drift into transparency

Stained by fragments of that scattering
I still walk, chasing the finite
never arriving anywhere
