Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Objective: 
- Understand the nature of God's grace, the reality of second chances in Christ,  and how to live each day with confidence, purpose, and gratitude.

Introduction to Grace and Second Chances:
- Grace is the unearned, undeserved favor of God. 
- It is not given because we are good, but because God is good. 
- Second chances are expressions of grace—opportunities to begin again, to live redeemed, and to be refined by God's mercy, not defined by our past.

Grace is the unconditional love, kindness, and favor freely given, not earned. 
- It uplifts, forgives, 
- and transforms, 

Receiving grace from God is not just a gift — it is a sacred invitation to walk in divine strength, undeserved favor, and unshakable love. When we open our hearts to His grace, we are empowered to rise above our struggles, restore what was broken, and become vessels of hope for others. In God's grace, we find purpose, healing, and the strength to keep moving forward — not because we are perfect, but because His love is. 

Let us walk boldly, knowing that His grace is more than enough for every step of the journey.

Grace To Purpose (Lamentations 3-22-23)

One of the greatest attributes we could have is humility.  We must continue being the clay that God can form, trusting him throughout whatever is happening in our lives. In our walk with God our losses often precede the gain of that which He has for us and thus we should celebrate such losses. We often only see our limitations, but God sees our unending elevations. If you want the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, you have to give God your will to get God’s demands on your life. At creation God kept putting demands upon himself to create more and more and since we are created in his image, we should never get satisfied or complacent with where we are in God, but keep demanding more, for there is so much more. This is the attitude that solicits constant angelic co-operation and help. Keep the promises you have made to God with commitment, dedication and fearless willingness to adjust your life according to his will and He will take you to the next level of the fire. When we do not use what God gave us by answering to his demand on our lives, we will start to worship that gift, instead of worshipping him. God demands a return on the investment which He made by sending Jesus to the earth and that return is a harvest of sons and daughters. We judge our relationship with God, not by how much money He gives us, but by what we can do for him, because we love him. Love is not just words but requires actions. Our roots are in whatever we love, and our trust and provision is rooted in God, not in possessing money. We are totally dependent upon one another to keep us from being self-reliant and our money is only a tool God has blessed us with for the sake of the Kingdom. God has demanded our lives for us to be sons of power and givers of God’s love, grace, mercy, and blessing. God’s demand on our lives is to do greater works than what Jesus did.

Roger Marsh is a pastor, author and veteran of more than 40 years of broadcasting. Roger is an ordained minister and graduated from the Niagara Lutheran Theological Institute after completing undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Cal State Fullerton and Business Management at Azusa Pacific University. For more than a decade, Roger served as Assistant Pastor for Lutheran Church of the Cross in South Orange County, California. He is co-author of the book, Internet Protect Your Kids and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. speaking to parents about youth and family issues. 

Roger and his wife, Lisa,  have been blessed with a beautiful, blended family consisting of two sons, four daughters, and three sons-in-law. In addition, they are the grandparents of six (3 girls and 3 boys). 

Along with hosting “The Bottom Line,” Roger has also served as the announcer/studio co-host for Dr. James Dobson’s Family Talk since 2016, and has worked as a staff announcer for the FOX television network for more than 30 years.
