Titre composé pour le spectacle  ( et le cd ) "Vènt-terrau" écrit par Jean Marotta pour le choeur Article 9, dont j'ai fait partie de 2003 à 2008. Clin d'oeil d'Entrada à l'immense Frédéric Mistral. Jean m'avait confié le rôle impressionnant du poète, et nous avions été les derniers à enregistrer à Miraval pour cet album avec le choeur. J'avais retrouvé Patrice Quef et le studio avec bonheur, y étant déjà venu 2 fois avec Cañyon. Vaqui, caro Brad !

Mistral is a strong, cold wind that blows from France into the Mediterranean. It‘s strongest in the transition between winter and spring and it plays an important role in the climate of Provence. It represents the raw and destructive forces of nature, but at the same time it helps life to thrive.
 
Winds bring changes and affect our lives in different ways, both positive and negative.
 
The song expresses the feeling of waking up from a difficult period into a more gentle one, as if the negative things had been blown away by the mistral wind.
 
After all, winds can bring dark stormy clouds, but they can as well take them away, revealing bright blue skies.

Formé en 2009, le trio revendique ses racines provençales dans un subtil mélange de folk et de jazz pour nous emmener "A l'Entrada del temps clar"..
Suivant une recette à la Raimu ( 1/3 de folk, 1/3 de jazz, et 2/3 d’Occitanie ), ils nous proposent un parcours éclectique, s'inspirant de Lockwood ou Galliano comme des chants ancestraux qu'ils revisitent, soufflés par le grand Mistral.. 
Entrada retourne aux sources tout en suivant sa voie..

Gioacchino Balistreri is an Italian composer of soundtracks and theatre music living in Switzerland. He studied “Music Composition for Film” at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, under the guidance of the Academy Award-winning Maestro Luis Bacalov. He has composed the theme song for Tramp Limited, the production house of the Italian actors Ficarra & Picone. Their latest production in collaboration with StudioRain, the short film “Maestrale” by Nico Bonomolo for which he signed the original music, it triumphs at the David di Donatello 2022, winning the award for best short film and entering the list of nominations for the 2023 Academy Awards. Among his works, he composed the music for two plays directed by Mauro Avogadro: "Eichmann – Where the night begins” by Stefano Massini, with Ottavia Piccolo and Paolo Pierobon, and “Fine Pena: Ora”, written by Paolo Giordano, with Paolo Pierobon and Sergio Leone, produced by Piccolo Teatro in Milan. He also composed the original soundtracks for the Nico Bonomolo animated shorts movies “Confined”, produced by Lucky Red, candidate for David di Donatello and Golden Globes, winner of the Giffoni Experience, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and it was inserted in the long list for the 2018 Academy Awards, and “Detours”, special mention at the Nastri d’Argento. He conducts a soundtracks workshop at the Locarno International Film Festival.

Signed by a Major (EMI) It's with my very first band Mistral, Album 's "Sexy Beau" And a lot after that 🤣 I'm (nearly) ok with everything i've done, sometime it's not equal. Depends of the production, the band, etc. But if it's there, means I Love it 😉But still, the best is coming ! I'm recording, working on my new LP. Benjamin vient du Rock. Au début des années 80, il est d’abord le leader, guitariste, auteur/compositeur du groupe Mistral (rock tendance énervée, PunK) avec lequel il enregistre deux albums pour des majors. Avec le premier album « Sexy Beau » (Pathé Marconi) et des titres comme « Les Fils de l’acier » et « C’est si facile », il se constitue un public fidèle et tourne avec U2, Talking Heads, Scorpions, INXS, etc. Le single « Unisex »  s’invite dans les Charts et lui ouvre une fenêtre sur l’international. A la fin de Mistral, il a le plaisir de collaborer avec PRINCE, durant trois mois, pour le tournage d’« Under The Cherry Moon ». Une expérience Musicale et Cinématographique ave le Prince de la POP ! C’est à Londres, ensuite, qu’il forme Ménage à Trois (deux hommes et une machine, New Wave) ; Amsterdam, Paris, Nice, partout en Europe.
