Welcome to the first episode of "❍ Starscapes," a planetary mix series where we embark on a journey through the galaxies exploring the enigmatic worlds, radiant stars, planets and celestial tapestries that inhabit our universe - through the ethereal layers of ambient, meditative & drone sounds and emotions.

Episode number 1 is dedicated to the crystalline waters of Mintaka (Delta Orionis δ Orionis), a multiple star system located 1,200 light-years from our Sun. Together with the two other stars, Alnitak and Alnilam, they form the illustrious trinity known as Orion's Belt.
In Egyptian mythology the stars of Orion's Belt hold profound symbolism, intertwined with themes of rebirth and resurrection. Legend is that Osiris, the revered deity of the afterlife and rebirth, found his eternal repose within the celestial bounds of Orion's Belt.

According to the wisdom of the Egyptians, the gods themselves descended from the realm of Orion's Belt and Sirius. It was believed that the divine beings took form as humans - Osiris and Isis, from whom the rest of human civilisation unfurled. Ancient writings bear testament to the inseparable bond between Orion and Osiris, fusing the two into cosmic kin.

Today marks a special moment in our collective musical journey, as we release our 100th mix under the Delayed with… banner. And who should mark this special occasion? The honor falls to our favorite celestial explorers, Moon Patrol. Yes, our co-founders, Irina Kotik and Gilles Wasserman take the helm together through their shared project that has been building and building momentum over the years. Coming in at almost two hours, the mix is an embodiment of their passion, knowledge, incredible curation, and skill as artists. Bringing listeners on a proper journey through realms of Ambient, Techno, and beyond. All with that signature Moon Patrol flair that we know and love dearly. Celebrations are to be had. EMC is honored to welcome Primal Code!

Davide Perrone (@pianetisintetici) and Gabriele Giuggioli jumped straight into the deep techno scene with their appearance on @hypnus Record. Since then, they've rapidly established themselves through a series of sold-out records on labels such as @kalaharioystercult, @thegodsplanet, and @konstrukt-5. By lacing their unique fusion of modern electronic music with field recordings from their travels, dreams of ancient mysteries start to vibrate in the air. To them, music is the primordial code that unlocks the doors inside of us, which leading into the realms of our imagination.

Truxx is a DJ/producer duo who thrive on their unique interaction with electronic devices, a central pillar of their techno creation process. In 2022, they channelled this passion into the establishment of their own music label, Sine Space 7.
Their bond with computers generates a rapid, pulsating techno beat. They constantly strive to harness the pure sound of a sinus wave, a signature trait that they weave into their music, creating a distinctive sound.
Furthermore, they add a multitude of rhythmic, percussive elements. This fusion crafts a sound that they adore, a hypnotic techno beat that resonates with their listeners and reflects their profound passion for music.

"For this mix we've decided to go a lot deeper than our regular style. Opening with slow paced techno around 126 bpm filled with textures deep baselines and sounds created trough perfect filter modulation. We slowly progress trough the mix towards our own style which we love and also represent on our imprint Sine Space 7. Ending the mix not too fast, but with a high energy dosis!"

wassup yall! back with another edition of m_boogs & friends + the last mix of 2024! crazy how fast this year went. This time I got my friend ONGJOCO starting this off. I first discovered her music during quarantine after peeping her Beat Cinema set and I've been a huge fan ever since. She started off making these dope instrumentals and now she's been experimenting with electronic and synth tunes. Her song Rage has been one of my favorite songs of 2024! Hope you enjoy the mixes!

Paolo Calvaruso (A.K.A. Groove Empathy) discovers his passion for DJing in 2014, approaching and falling in love with the psy movement.
In fact, the first mixing experiences involved all kind of Psy genres, finally arriving to the beloved Zenonesque/Dark Prog music along side all kind of Downtempo and Chill-Out music.

After two years he feels the need to expand his musical selection to all his beloved musical genres, moving away from the prevalence of electronic music and starting to melt it with old and contemporary sounds, to create combinations ever more stimulating and unexpected for listeners' ears.
Now the best way to express himself and his musical empathy is, whithout any doubt, playing Chill-Out/Alternative DJsets.

In 2016 joins the Fractal Forest Family as DJ and Alternative Stage Manager for family's Party!
In 2019 he joins forces and start co-operating and organizing parties with Out of Control PsyFamily!
By now Groove Empathy brought his selection in parties and festivals like 7Chakras Festival, Shankra Festival, Atlas Gathering, etc. in Italy and all over Europe (Swiss, Spain, Denmark, ...).

His DJsets are never prepared, the musical selection is improvised on the spot in order to fit the situation and follow the dancefloor vibes at the best of his capability!

Le prime esperienze di missaggio infatti toccavano solamente sonorità elettroniche Psy di tutti i generi, approdando in ultimo al genere Zenonesque/Dark Prog prediletto assieme anche a tutte le sonorità Downtempo e Chill-Out.

Dopo due anni sente però il bisogno di espandere la sua selezione a tutti i generi musicali da sempre amati, scostandosi dalla prevalenza di musica elettronica per fonderla a sonorità vecchie e/o contemporanee, al fine di creare accostamenti sonori sempre più stimolanti e inaspettati per le orecchie degli ascoltatori.
Ormai è senza dubbio tramite i DJset Chill-Out/Alternative che riesce veramente a esprimere se stesso e l'affinità musicale.

Dal 2016 entra a far parte della Fractal Forest Family come DJ e Alternative Stage Manager per gli stessi eventi della Family.
