WHAT`S UPSTAIRS

“Kind” is the first jam I recorded on my new synthesizer: the Solar 42F from Elta Music. I named the track “Kind” because this instrument has many buttons, switches and lights that let the child in me play and go on a journey of discovery. 

Of course I use an Arabic scale in this first jam :D If you know my music, you also know my preference for Middle East influences. After my first attempts, I was glad that I got the 24 oscillators more or less in tune with each other - I think that was my biggest difficulty.

Kind

Take Your Time

For this track I use a modified hybrid setup: The Solar 42F is routed into the Analog Rytm and then into Albeton where I put some Big Sky Magic on top. The AR has no other function as being an audio interface in this jam, but upcoming jams will build on it by adding some drums and samples with it, so this setup is more of a preparation for upcomig tracks. I love the massive drift of some oscillators LOL sounds confusing imho.
