The four-track release is a back-to-the-roots call to the underground, with collaborations from DJ JM, Cartridge, Andy Martin and Doctor Jeep inside.

Based between Athens and London, Madam X’s debut EP ‘HOMECOMING’ honours the multi-disciplined artist’s musical roots in the UK, merging Dubstep, wobbly Bass, moody Techno, and playful club-driven aesthetics.

“I’m super pleased to share the product of many late-night studio sessions, Zoom calls, B2B voice memos and football-field recordings,” says Madam X.

“‘HOMECOMING’ is a back-to-the-roots call to the underground, celebrating everything I know and love about music, honouring my UK heritage and drawing influence from the styles and scenes that shaped my DJ journey. Each track is a collaboration with some of my favourite powerhouse producers. Couldn’t have done it without them.”

Scott McKay, also known as Fear-E, is a DJ and producer based in Glasgow. He specialises in jacking house, techno, and electro, drawing inspiration from the raw early sounds of Chicago, Detroit, and the UK. Additionally, his work as Breakbeat Energy showcases a blend of breakbeat, jungle, and hardcore music influenced by the 90s and early 2000s UK rave scenes. 

Scott has built an impressive discography, releasing music on respected labels such as Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Dark Entries. He also runs his own label, Posh End Music, which is dedicated to releasing high-quality electronic music that pays homage to his roots. Recently, he founded another outlet, sister label Breakbeat Energy, focusing on all forms of music that stem from the hardcore-oriented spectrum.

Over the past decade, Scott has delivered impactful DJ sets across various venues and festivals in the UK and further afield. He has made guest appearances on several radio shows and has received airplay on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, and Rinse FM, with his tracks featured in Radio 1's Essential Mix multiple times. His productions have been supported by prominent artists including Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, The Hacker, Randomer, Jerome Hill, Marcel Dettmann, James Ruskin, Bloody Mary, Paul Woolford, Skream, Leftfield, and the late, great Andrew Weatherall.

VNNN. has a clear penchant for techno and its contemporary influences. The Essen-based DJ and producer is not only a key team member behind the Stone Techno festival, but is also a long-serving resident at The Third Room events that boasts bookings such as Jeff Mills, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1, for example. He also has appearances at clubs further afield alongside artists such as FJAAK, Floorplan, Dax J, Stef Mendesidis, and Bambounou, to name only a few. His tracks have been released on homestead The Third Room, as well as fellow German label Toolboxxx, and he continues to carve out staunch path collaborating with Ahmet Sisman too. This exclusive mix is trippy from the word go, developing a hugely hypnotic opening that really sets the mood and transports.
