Side A - a warm, lazy dub-disco track by L.A.'s electronic-slow-disco musician TURBOTITO
Side B - a funky Vibes4YourSoul Remix for mysterious New York artist 1-900.

Both tracks will be released on our sister label Too Slow Too Disco NEO, invented by Dj Supermarkt for modern, warm Sunset Disco.

Side A is also the first track from our upcoming summer compilation THE SUNSET MANIFESTO 2.

Tercera entrega de esta serie de 4 episodios (uno por cada estación del año) conformada por una selección de los mejores temas a “cámara lenta” (Daytime Disco, Yatch Disco…), recopilados de entre todas las sesiones que he publicado en Soundcloud, con el añadido de seis nuevas pistas de reciente adquisición, para darle un toque novedoso a la mezcla. Espero que sea de vuestro agrado.

La mezcla no está disponible para descargar porque Souncloud me ha bloqueado las descargas por dos denuncias por derechos de autor. Si recibo una denuncia mas mi cuenta será borrada definitivamente. We are back with another chapter in our ongoing series of unearthing smooth vibes from all over the world, this time we go back to the FUTURE for you with:
THE SUNSET MANIFESTO Volume 2.

TSTD NEO is the outlet we are using to unearth modern laidback, smooth, slow sunset disco vibes. We are looking for a warm mix of soulful Westcoast/Balearics and modern electronic production. Because for us TSTD always has been about a vibe/feeling, not a certain time period in musical history.

After a five year break mainly concentrating on the late 70s/early 80s Westcoast Soul/Yacht/AOR sound, we finally dive deep into the modern world of our beloved sister-label Too Slow To Disco NEO (for the third time after 2018s TSTD NEO - En France and 2020s The Sunset Manifesto excursions).
But of course it wasn’t a real 5 year break since the first Sunset Manifesto compilation, as in the meantime we also released a few digital TSTD Neo singles, and – more importantly - our "Too Slow To Disco NEO - FM" playlist on spotify (handcurated by Dj Supermarkt every week and now hosting more than 1500 tracks of mellow, modern sunshine vibes) was growing steadily and becoming a new, important fixpoint in the TSTD musical universe.

So it makes sense that we present the "crème de la crème" of new slo/mo Nu-Disco/Sunset Disco/Daytime Disco acts in the TSTD format, a luxurious compilation, with artists from all across the globe: Not only from the two homelands of that modern slow disco sound, Los Angeles/California and France, but also from Beijing, Montreal, Mexico, London, New York, Stockholm, Rotterdam… the moon, you name it! This music is more a state of mind, a feeling, then a geographical thing.

In 2015, the four members of Prep came together to cut deep grooves that mine contemporary R&B and electronica while hearkening back to the soft, sheer sound of the late ’70s and early ‘80s. The love for that style united vocalist-lyricist Tom Havelock, keyboardist Llywelyn Ap Myrddin, drummer Guillaume Jambel, and producer Dan Radclyffe. Prep is pop music that feels tip-of-the-tongue familiar even though you’ve never heard it before. They have a massive following in some Asian countries, especially Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines, collaborating with local stars Live and in recording. Their self titled debut album arrived in 2020, followed by “The Programme” (produced by Renaud Letang) from 2024, featuring the original version of “Call It”, their cooperation with legend Eddie Chacon (of Charles & Eddie – “Would I Lie To You” fame). So how did the collab come together? We asked the Preps: “The first time we heard Eddie Chacon’s “Holy Hell” we fell in love with it instantly and thought “we have to do something with this guy”. A year later we were going to be in L.A. for a few days, so we had a word with our label, they got in touch, and next thing we knew there was a session in the diary.
That one day with Eddie at the Stones Throw studios in Pasadena was one of the best we’ve ever had, where everything just happened very naturally: we met, we got on, had tacos, Eddie had a melody idea, we put a beat down, chords down, the equipment worked, the stars aligned… We wrote “Call It” in an afternoon. It’s “Georgy Porgy”, it’s “Always There”, but really it’s neither. It’s us and Eddie Chacon, channeling a lot of good feeling through a roomful of drum boxes, synths - and an electric sitar.”
We here at TSTD headquarter are huge fans of the original track already, but we quickly had the idea to have L.A.’s Turbotito remix the track… and a dream come true.

This L.A. duo comprises of Simon “Woolfy” James and Dan Hastie and they’ve been releasing music since 2000 for a who’s who of contemporary disco/electronic labels: DFA, Rong, Future Classic and Permanent Vacation. Their latest album “Destinations” (on Permanent Vacation) is their fourth studio album. The pair are committed to a laudable task: making California into an outpost of the Balearic islands – endless summer, guaranteed! Their music combines the classic West Coast sound with a twist of dark disco and a twilight vibe. This exclusive track is something of a disco odyssey! Close your eyes and “Seeds” will recreate the warm glow of a Los Angeles sunset, backed by the distant rhythm of the Pacific. A deep, rolling Moog bassline drives the journey forward, steady and hypnotic like the open highway. Lush horns rise and fall like the city’s hills, while shimmering synthesizers paint neon streaks across the sky, capturing the euphoric feeling of returning home. This is one invitation to dance under the palm trees you won’t want to decline.

Lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer, known for his work as the singer and bassist of Poolside and The Rapture. For Safer, Lovetempo has been a way to fuse saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Following a run of well-received releases on Brooklyn tastemakers Razor-N-Tape and toucan sounds, Lovetempo now brings TSTD this special edit of his cover of Anita Baker’s “Same Ole Love (365 Days a Year),”. The track features New York nightlife icon Prince Terrence on vocals, bringing his signature touch to a timeless classic. Originally self-released in 2023, Lovetempo has extended and dubbed out their original version, transforming it into a hypnotic slow-disco groove that feels as cool and effortless as a summer breeze. Expect warm falsetto floating over the most laid-back, organic disco-bossa rhythms. Tasting notes: perfect for brunches, poolside parties, getting ready for a night out, or winding down after the club with a chilled Loire Valley red, this track is a stylish, feel-good essential for any occasion. Angus and Alex are the friends and bandmates behind Goodvibes Sound. Despite only starting to create music together in 2019 the two released their debut album “The Institute” in 2022 – a blend of upbeat discofied soul, indie doused in a heavy dose of psychedelic vibes. Inspired by 1970s California, hot tubs and beach bars, Goodvibes Sound craft groovy psych-pop tunes with a disco twist. A simple yet powerful way to place your subconscious mind in direct contact with the ‘universal vibe-o-sphere’, if you like. The duo are really interested in mindfulness and presence, and how to live in the moment, given all the distractions of modernity around us. Their music is set in the world of the Goodvibes Institute, a mythical research body exploring methods to develop consciousness throughout the world. Goodvibes Sound is the audio division of the organisation. Their album “The Institute” follows the story of two characters who escape from their busy city lives to discover the Goodvibes Institute. Remixer Matt Hughes is a UK producer, who has worked closely with TSTD for a long time now. This dry, deep, minimal funk remix reminds us of Prince and is an absolute highlight in the TSTD unive
