Less Is More

"Less Is More - House Music Mix" brings the essence of simplicity and groove into a seamless flow of house rhythms. This mix, inspired by snowy days and the joy of pure sound, captures the timeless charm of house music while pushing its boundaries into fresh territories. 

The mix opens with the introspective "Less Is More" by Choices, building into the soulful grooves of "Ride The Storm" by Akabu featuring Linda Clifford. Standout tracks include "Tempo" by Jah, SCE, and "Are You Gonna Rock" by Me & My Toothbrush, offering a perfect blend of energy and emotion. Dans cette épisode du podcast, nous échangeons avec deux étudiants du projets, Simon et Alexis, ainsi que Sarngsan, designer encadrant du projet sur le terrain de la Thaïlande. Des sujets tels que le modèle occidental et son impact sur notre pratique ont été abordés, accompagnés de questionnements autour de l'origine du concept "less is more", et bien d'autres enjeux.

This short piece was lost in the digs for almost exactly 6 years.

It reflects our intuitions and feelings, in a beautiful, simple and curious time, where it was easier to feel positive about our own emotions. There was a seemingly seamless chaotic routine in our diverse little interconnected beachside neighbourhood, and I feel for just a minute, we somehow captured the majestic energy we shared with each other and the ever-still inspiring community around us.

Here can be heard the emotional, expressive and dynamic tones and rhythms of Shani Zadunaisky: on saxophone and drums, mixed and accompanied by Josh Fooks (HAMANOF): on bass and keys. Without any change or polish at all since it was spontaneously recorded and arranged in March 2019. 

In addition, much inspiration and contribution of talent to the magic was made by Ran Kantarovich, all in our treetop palace on the 'sdera' in Yafo: both in this era and also to this short, never-to-be-finished piece.
