Delving more into rhythmic syncopation and motion. I was inspired by the FF7 'Wall-market' theme for this piece. I guess in my mind I wanted a sort of slinky, groovy, rhythmic fusion sort of vibe, but with my own characteristic story-telling. I tried to mostly forgo a melody and instead use rhythmic chord stabs and note spacing to give the push and pull for this track so each section has it's own sort of emotional texture. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

i'm into musicians - far beyond singers without instruments - people that LIKE to play/record REAL instruments - played by various lips & limbs with intention - practice - improvisation on themes, ideas.

Yogi Prateado is a wandering wondering bodhisattva, minstrelling about town in search for harmony with nature for all beings. Prateado's source-ry is impulsive yet reserved, measured yet passionate, revealing an innate love for odd rhythms and collaboration with visionary electronic artists. Prateado dispenses the mathematics of the spheres through stepping back and letting breath create.

I decided to change the branding and name to something more ambiguous to fit a larger vision. Pick Attack was my old release name, as I’m mainly a guitarist, but it felt kind of limiting to make releases under. So Panopt is sort of a new creative vision for my self and those I collaborate with. With that I’m looking to expand my creative output. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Introspection. It's good to ask questions. Sometimes you can say more with less. Sometimes you just want to escape.

I am primarily a pianist, but have focused more on guitar and bass in recent years. I've played keyboards in a Genesis Tribute band and in an original prog rock band.

I went to school for sound recording technology, music composition, and piano performance.

I have been writing and recording my own material for, well, forever, but I only consider a small percentage of the work worthy enough to share. The rest I consider part of my ongoing education.

My work can be measured and mathematical, but not without emotion. I enjoy astronomy and physics, and this comes through sometimes in the music and lyrics.
