For episode 8 we will be taking a trip down memory lane to the late 90s and early 2000s nu skool/progressive breaks sound. Breakbeat has always been a personal favorite of mine and in my opinion, this era of the sound has yet to be matched. An early intro to electronic music after stumbling across a radio station playing hardcore & rave, helped to propel Movimentum straight into the illegal underground warehouse raves in Sydney in the mid 90s.

The explosion of energy, comradery and creativity from that early era revolutionised his outlook to music, social culture and life-affirming positive attitudes. His love of all things electronic is still as strong as ever today.

From house to techno, nu disco to breakbeat, deep house melodica to progressive house, hardcore to rave, acid house to electro, Movimentum loves to traverse various styles of electronica. A strong history with a deep love for these changing and emerging styles over the decades helps to incorporate a wide range of sounds and beats into his artillery.
