Tara Brooks’ prepares her latest - In It Together. Marking another chapter in her dynamic career as she presents a record that features a remix from one of the UK scenes OG's "Lee Coombs". As always Tara evolves her sound with an innovative broken beat Electro record. Known for her genre-fluid approach, Tara seamlessly weaves themes of House, Electro, and Acid, creating soundscapes that are both emotionally charged and always suitably danceable. Dropping this December 6, 2024, via Thrust Recordings, this two-tracker features the original Electro beat-down alongside an on-point reworking by Mr Coombs. A staple in the global electronic scene, Tara Brooks has captivated audiences at iconic venues like Sound (LA), Watergate, Kater Blau (Berlin), and festivals such as Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and Burning Man. Her productions, spanning labels such as Bedrock and Desert Hearts, reflect her passion for pushing sonic boundaries, while consistently staying connected to the pulse of the underground.
In It Together showcases Tara’s signature blend of intricate rhythm and deep, resonant bass, underpinned by tight percussion and lush sequences that guide the track through an evocative, high-energy journey. Both tracks feature an iconic breaks-driven style, adding an electrifying new dimension to her already varied back catalogue. A perfect balance of the introspective and the ecstatic.
This latest release on Thrust Recordings further cements her place as an essential voice in modern electronic music. Following release this December, you can find Tara playing for Carl Cox at his Goldenvoice/Framework event at Shrine LA, followed by a new EP on Desert Hearts Black, and a single on RVDIOVCTIVE with a remix from none other than Junior Sanchez.
