“ONDO” means “deep” in Spanish, a word we chose to capture the sensation of descending into the subconscious…a cenote, a black hole, the shadowy edges of the psyche. It’s all about finding one's way in the dark, and holding onto the light, no matter how heavy it gets.

And the vocals from “Supersonic (My Existence)” seemed to fit like a glove.

Tahabdra's track "RAZUM" opens up the duo's debut EP PHI out on October 21st, 2017.  "RAZUM" blends sound design concepts akin to Ivy Lab and Noisia with a dark hiphop groove along with ethereal vocal samples. With all the synths and vocals tuned to the unique Tahabdra tuning system, "RAZUM" captures the ideal of the project, bridging electronic bass music with music therapy principals and the universal constants golden ratio and Fibonacci sequence. "RAZUM" literally translating to "mind" from Russian, is cerebral yet danceable, an exploration in bringing intellectual dance music to a new level.

Tahabdra is Wiggz Caro & Josh Weinberg, who met while attending Berklee College of Music. After graduating, with their mutual desire to bring music to new places, they started producing+performing music centered on the research-backed biologically beneficial frequency 528Hz, with the goal of getting people moving while providing positive physiological & psychological effects.
