i really love that thumbnail for no reason

The original had been floating in the back of my mind for a while, and I needed a good excuse to practice my orchestral arrangement/mixing anyway.

I hate to say something as generic as "8-Bit" but I scarcely want to call it NES because I left in the dynamics for the triangle wave which is an illegal move.

Happy with how I handled the accompaniment. I managed to incorporate the rhythm section and both parts of the backing pads. Most of all I'm glad I managed to make a full sounding mix with these limitations. 
Usually with my NES-style stuff I gave into temptation and added in the Gimmick bass/DPCM drums AND the extra saw channels or w/e and SO ON. That would complicate things too much so it'd end up messy. I managed to get this good of a mix with only 4 voices, and that's pretty fly.

literally the second sonic game i ever played was this, and i rlly enjoyed it.

anyways this is act 2 of sylvania castle zone! you may notice the tiny references to aquatic ruin zone in this. 

i guess most people say this game sucks is because they're not really used to the new movement and gimmicks i guess? the graphics is definitely an improvement from the whole 2.5d style they were going for in the first game.

I recomposed this song in the earlier history of my channel, but I felt I could improve so I wanted to take another crack at it!

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is one of my favourite RPG games of all time. In my opinion, Partners in Time was unique from the rest of the M&L series because of how dark it was in contrast to the other games, and I just think the entire M&L RPG series itself is amazing. I never get tired of the unique dialogue different characters like Fawful, Geno, Prince Peasley and so forth have to offer in the amazing stories and I would definitely like to consider touching up on this series again in the future, hopefully!

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.
