I discovered the composer for this game has a Twitter (@AudioMyo) today. And I literally indirectly mentioned this project while replying to a post he'd made (about motivation and how it can completely vanish in a really short amount of time, and how you have to sort of work on it w/o the motivation before you can become motivated again), because it was relevant to the topic. This was not lost on me one bit.

I spent literally twenty-ish minutes playing up to the point where Thok's fight is with the music off JUST so I could get a clean recording of his VFX. I've been wanting clean samples of the Piraka Laughs™ for probably years now, so it sucks that I don't have a completed save file any more.

Update (3/5/20): I changed the JUNO16's to ODY-LDE2 and Juno Special String, and added an extra DOOKIE2 channel for the parts where the distortion backing is actually something you pay attention to. Said channel also switches to JUNO16 a couple times briefly, during the few parts where you could actually fucking hear it in the prior version. 
Also, to provide context for that comment, the picture used to be that drawing by Bttrswt1, as seen on Know Your Meme.

so apparently 3d knockoff man kopyhwright 1998 has some fucking kickass music, as I found out thanks to N0@h1991 from vgmusic.

I went into this wanting to make it sound like a Hakkann stage, but it ended up sounding like Thok as well. I couldn't decide up until the moment I thought about when the two of them robbed Brutaka of his energy. Now, listening back to it, this works as a pretty good middle ground between the two areas' vibes. Like, without meaning to in some cases-- I made the two leads DYNOLEAD and A08-2, which sounded fab playing off of each other, but by coincidence are also most closely associated with Thok's world and Hakkann's, respectively.
In other words, once I gave this track a set motif, all the pieces fell into place.

Dancing Mad but it uses the Bionicle Heroes soundfont

Made for Ableton Class. It's technically a remix of a rap song, but I had to mute the vocals given so I won't get in trouble (and I don't think this is good enough to go ask the guy for permission), so that's kind of moot. I like how it sounds though, so I wanted to share it the way that I can.

I was having a problem not just making a backing track for the unaltered acapellas, so I had three different Live Sets by the time I actually settled on one idea. I originally was going to do some kind of Jazzy thing (hence the breakbeat at the start), but I ended up creating this cool sound with the strings, so I decided to go for the Bionicle Heroes electronic, sort of trancey tune.
This is by no means anything special, but it's an alright mix, I think.

Vezok's Abyss (Mario Party 2.sf2)

For Ableton Class, we were tasked with composing a tune using a reference tune. In honor of Tom Miller, the BH GBA guy, taking inspiration from Juno Reactor for the soundtrack, and citing "God is God" in particular, I chose that for my "template". I also drew from Red Faction's Sonar for some of the percussive ideas (and used some samples from 3D Maze Man to realize them :eyes:).

I decided to finally post it in .sf2 form because even if I don't, someone will eventually, because that Drive folder's contents are already on BiOMediaProject.
Seeing how this is unavoidably the case, I'd rather it was ME who got there first, and thus gets all the credit (especially since I'm the guy that instigated it). Just like with Mario Party 2, 3D Maze Man, Best Friends, & SuperSponge before it (though technically this one's older than MP2 & 3DMM), my sense of LOOGAME was one of the driving factors for its publication.

I may be like that guy who does Megalovania recreation speedruns on YT, where you don't remember my name but have to look it up again so you can put me in the Special Thanks section for your eventual finished production, but the idea of that in itself is delicious to me. YEAJ I'm petty!!, hwo youd nkow?! I like geting AK KNOCLEDGED, HMM

Plus, I think I'm pretty good at making soundfonts, now, so the first instance also gets to be a quality product.

Surfer Crashes on Drum & Bass Rock

i found this song while trying to find a means of getting Turtles in Time's orchestra hit in decent quality. From start to finish I think this might have taken 5-6 hours, including arrangement time.

Update: Day 2, added in a bunch of stuff I forgot to add originally - most notable were the orchestra hits that I forgot to add, because they're kind of annoying in the original (during the intro especially), so I'd skipped over them during the writing process and forgot they were there.
Another thing was I added in the extra BG instrument(s) that follow the bass's accompaniment quite closely, in terms of notation. It goes from a mallet to another distortion guitar (facsimile), & it sounded like there were strings towards the end of the loop, so I made this instrument cover that, as well.
Oh yeah, that's another thing; speaking of the end of the loop, as a side to adding the orchestra hits, I spruced up the 1st Lead's second instance and added its harmony.
