Some of the vibe in this is hopefully captured in the artwork. That feel of slow steady smoke rising from the grit of the city after a fresh rain. How majestic the clouds look moving across the ground in the woods and rising above night city skies. It's a push and pull on soul, kinda, being a city kid... the contrast to that is being in the woods, nature. This is a bit of a dance in both. Missing it. Feeling it. Being in states at the bottom of it, and the pressure of it. It's kinda hard to put into words. You know the feel though. Memories are in here too. Some of it is hair... smiles... tensions... slipping away. Music is interesting. Your natural language is vibration, so music is easier to speak than human.

So... as far as "K". There was a time..... Yup. After that, I dunno, quiet is a good thing. Lack is where everything comes from, so to have silence allows you to produce sounds and find vibes and WHY the vibes. You cant fill a full space. You can't produce or grow where there's no room, so to find that void in your self and not run from it, but to explore what's missing is a creative process. Here, peace and stillness was missing. There was a lot going on in life and music was lacking, so to have a moment alone with a guitar and bass.... no one around, nothing to do....  no judgments or pressures, no demands... no real wants or needs.. just a peaceful quiet moment, ALONE.... it was a good feeling. This is a little bit of a celebration of that, especially knowing how all things pass. Enjoy the happy while happy and allow your self to just be. 

Annnnd yeah, there was that thinking about... K stuff. There was time and space to do that then too.

There's a lot of talent in the True Spitters camp. There's quite a few very dope producers as well, including Crooked Noize (@cameron-poole-3) , Imani Akil (@imaniakil), Hiii wAves (@wavenomics ...who also plays multiple instruments), The Glitch of Glyphe', and little byrd. Everyone has their own sound and style. This one is little byrd doing his thang. It's always fun to be in the studio with other folks. The energy is different... it flows more, but being in a room alone with just the beat is a conversation with energy like no other. Your own memories and feelings vibe with the sounds and things that go into the beat. Most of the times the beat is so good it doesn't need anything else, but sometimes it may inspire you to write something which might inspire you to make another beat. Music is an amazing language, and we're all very blessed to have our say in it.  This one is some Sade samples, in an attempt to have something relaxing but vibrant, bright, like Philly in the spring and summer... or all year around if you know where to go. The second half of the beat was actually produced first and shelfed, and then when listening to it again Byrd went back and added the first half. Sade is amazing, one of a kind. Music makes music. Musicians make musicians make great music.
