The Glitch of Glyphe' (@the_glitch_of_glyphe) is not just a rapper, producer, director (tv/film), graphic & fashion designer, artist, writer, and loads of other things, but he's got a good eye (and camera) too! Along with doing our own music we do are own images as well, trying to get the visual vibe in line with the audio. That way you can see how chill this track is (if you didn't have a cool quiet place to go to in your head already when listening).

Shout out to the clowns in the 215 (@zephaniahchesterfield). Amazing what you can do on the intranetsweb dot coms. We had this collabo up before the extra space the pro status allows but needed the room since everyone is working on projects, so it got taken down. Yeah, a widdul part of me died too. Anyways, it's back. It's a cool track. Byrd did the bass and mixing and digi crap. The fam (the clowns) did what they do, which is always awesomeness. Was gonna go with awesome sauce but that's been replaced with Sweet Baby Ray. There's a whole "Dedstop" project in the works.

Done this one back in the 199D-something when first figuring out how to sample and mix stuff. Didn't have the best sampling capabilities. Fun little bit: tv's used to have a headphone jack. If you take a VHS tape (90s isht) and play a movie you could run an aux cord from the headphone jack in the tv into the mic line-in in your computer and rip stuff that way, or just loop it from the headphone jack on the computer into the line-in jack on the same computer. You have to have your levels right for that last one-- watch the clipping. I think it's all through the center channel-- hadn't gotten into panning back then. I was just starting out. Meh. Nina Simone (naturally) with some GooGoo Dolls and Aretha Franklin... hence Simone Franklin. Sometimes when naming tracks you get so many folders and files you just try to keep it simple. I had a lot of stuff in this era/period that was pretty dope and due to hard drive crashes, location changes, and other random living life crap just can't find anymore. Some of it I really miss and other stuff I probably can't even remember so I guess I don't miss it that much. Anyways, you know me... Cap'n Give-It-Away. Free download here. There's a lot of talent in the True Spitters camp. There's quite a few very dope producers as well, including Crooked Noize (@cameron-poole-3) , Imani Akil (@imaniakil), Hiii wAves (@wavenomics ...who also plays multiple instruments), The Glitch of Glyphe', and little byrd. Everyone has their own sound and style. This one is little byrd doing his thang. It's always fun to be in the studio with other folks. The energy is different... it flows more, but being in a room alone with just the beat is a conversation with energy like no other. Your own memories and feelings vibe with the sounds and things that go into the beat. Most of the times the beat is so good it doesn't need anything else, but sometimes it may inspire you to write something which might inspire you to make another beat. Music is an amazing language, and we're all very blessed to have our say in it.  This one is some Sade samples, in an attempt to have something relaxing but vibrant, bright, like Philly in the spring and summer... or all year around if you know where to go. The second half of the beat was actually produced first and shelfed, and then when listening to it again Byrd went back and added the first half. Sade is amazing, one of a kind. Music makes music. Musicians make musicians make great music.

We do everything in-house, beats, production, images, writing, recording, etc. God blessed us to be able to do this so we're doing it. You can do better.
