In late 2023, expathmia and jish founded a discord server with the goal of creating a space for artists to collaborate with each other. Initially, they struggled to find a suitable name, so they decided to temporarily name the server “TBD”, as the name was still to be determined. After more artists had joined, they came to the conclusion that TBD could represent the fact that all of our futures as artists are still To Be Determined, and thus the name stuck.

In early January, the first ever TBD event was announced within the server; TBD’s Funniest Home Audios! All members of the server had 72 hours to create anything they could think of with no limits, a library of member-submitted samples, and an infinite number of collaboration opportunities. What resulted was the most fun and chaotic set of tracks that we had ever heard.

We hope you enjoy listening, and we look forward to hosting even more events with even more artists!
