SMPLR02 shines a spotlight on the rapidly evolving techno scene in the country, showcasing a diverse range of moods and styles that span from deep and hypnotic to the more robust and groove-centric cuts.

This release aims to distill the distinct and varied sonic identities of these artists into a cohesive collection, purposefully tailored for the discerning DJ. We are more than delighted to welcome Martini to W133. After appearances on Kindergarten Records and Early Reflex, the NYC-based producer delivers three uniquely well-crafted originals for the Berlin imprint.

Kicking off the EP on A1 is "Liquorice." The track starts with captivating ambient sounds and playfully develops into a breaky tribal adventure, paving the way for the EP title-giving track that is "Aqua Pura." You can feel the power of crystal-clear water bursting through your speakers, and tension building while the track develops. Shimmering with club-ready brilliance, each track unfolds with sonic intricacies. Indent blends sublime textures with drums and bass that perforate the amalgamation of the soundscape.

In May, longtime Vief collaborator halle o’malley got in touch with an idea. She’d come across the Instagram of a 17-year old Palestinian musician called Samih, who’s life has been torn apart as a result of Israel's recent onslaught on the Gaza strip. Their home destroyed, Samih and his family were forced to flee to a refugee camp in Rafah. During their displacement, Samih has gone viral posting videos of himself singing and playing a borrowed oud.
 
Having spoken to Samih and received his blessing, Halle planned to sample a video of his and donate the proceeds from the sales of that track to a GoFundMe set up for him and his family. Halle approached the label with the idea of scaling this project up by inviting other producers to sample Samih themselves or provide original tracks of their own.
 
Madhoun now stands as a compilation containing four productions sampling Samih, an interlude, and nine other dance tracks generously donated by producers from across the world.

In roughly two thousand years from now, when civilization has been devastated by human insatiability, few people remain. Their life is elementary and rough. They dearly miss lost knowledge. Vaguely they sense that their language is somewhat twisted. Its meaning must be painfully guessed. All their attempts to capture the true facts of their existence are in vain: The world is just secrets and enemies. The past feels like a grim, reverberant echo of loose imaginations.

Riddley Walker (1980) is an experimental science fiction novel by Russell Hoban. It inspired “Riddleyspeak”, the eighth release of Comfortnoise, written and produced by new-dot-com. five not entirely familiar club and sound system tracks: breakbeat influenced, techno leaning, and bass-heavy.

C / T / F / O represents a bold evolution in my sound—ushering in what I consider a new phase: Aggressive Ambient. While still grounded in the atmospheric textures that define my work, this album introduces grittier edges, distorted basslines, and a driving pulse that adds urgency and weight to each track.

The journey begins with Maestoso, featuring searing guitar leads by Ray Clay. What starts as a subdued ambient-techno fusion gradually builds into a cinematic, guitar-forward anthem—setting the tone for the dynamic contrasts that follow. Throughout the album, you'll encounter industrial rhythms, shadowy darkwave undercurrents, and moments of melodic tension that refuse to stay in one place.

Familiar elements of my previous work remain present, but they’ve been recontextualized with new intent. Tracks like Muzika Automatika—a clear homage to Kraftwerk—blend retro-futuristic textures with robotic precision and raw mechanical energy.

C / T / F / O is unpredictable and unapologetically experimental. It’s ambient music with a backbone, designed for those who want their soundscapes immersive and invigorating. The experience concludes with the title track—a final cathartic release, and a reminder to… well, C / T / F / O.
