Argentine talent Loko lands on Great Stuff once again following the success of this year&#8217;s Antiverb with Juanmy.R, and comes armed with a pair of firecrackers up his sleeve.

Rollercoaster wastes little time in making its intents clear, with a jackhammer of a wiggly bassline pumping under a peppy, shuffling house groove as a warped vocal snippet teases you into submission. It&#8217;s big room fodder with a lot of funk-fuelled attitude, oozing with incessant energy and designed to rip even the most testing dancefloor to shreds.

International Love builds slowly through distant synth stabs and a rugged b-line, before slowly and subtly drawing in a cinematic string sample that comes into focus in the dramatic breakdown. An intense build drops us back into the thick of it, leaving the strings to fight their way back through in a tense battle between the organic and the electronic.

well here it is - the live recorded set from the best day thusfar of my ridiculous little life - closing the @beatport stage on monday night this year at movement festival.

the original recording i was handed was extremely muddy and very poor quality.  i'm not sure if some raver accidentally dropped the recorder in the river or what?!?! lol... at first listen i thought the mix was totally unsalvageable. but there was so much persistent response from you guys asking about the recording that i had to try and make it happen.  (you guys are the best btw)

i spent countless hours EQing, limiting, EQing, and working all sorts of magic, and MORE EQing to get it sounding the way it does now.  i didn't mess with the flow of the set or anything shady like that - it is exactly how it came out that night.  

its not a flawless mix.  so what.  its live.  im only half robot, half human. it had been a VERY long weekend with a minimal amount of disco naps and only a few hours notice that i was going to fill in for mister boys noize..... excuses excuses :)  whatever. i'm happy.

THANK YOU guys SOOOOO much for all the love. i still feel like the luckiest person alive to have had the opportunity to play this set.  Thanks to my agents and manager and @chuck_flask and @paxahau and my @dirtybirdrecords family and all my friends and techno family from all over the place who were there in the crowd (i saw all your faces) and the people of detroit who have been so fucking nice and supportive....and my friends who were there in spirit.  and all the producers who actually wrote all these tracks. yes especially you. for creating frequencies meant to surround your body, be heard AND felt, and most of all rumble you to the core..... and thanks and praise to the techno gods for making this shit happen.  

so hey ok i got a little bit (super duper) emo on ya.  deal with it. 

i hope the set is how you remember it from that night.  and if its not... well fuck you... i cannot be held responsible for any chemically altered mind-states ;)  i'm just here to promote the music... jesus loves acid.  x -jess

Hot on the heels of the A-Sides Volume 5 compilation, Enrico Sangiuliano makes his return to Drumcode with his highly anticipated EP ‘Moon Rocks’. The heavy hitting four track EP shines a light on Sangiuliano’s tight, thundering production skills. The hoover heavy lead track ‘Moon Rocks’ is packed with booming percussion, intricate synths and brooding crescendos. 2nd Phase are Techburst (and Outburst residents) and are some of the most versatile producers that we have on our roster. They're back with a follow up to their heavily supported 'Agenda 21' release. It's called 'Protocol' and is one of their toughest sounding releases to date. With an extremely powerful kickdrum and bassline partnership, the awesome sub bass rumble definitely dominates this track. Traditional sounding techno chord stabs and rolling vocal samples are cleverly scattered throughout to add groove. They are later complimented by a sinister detuned synth section in the main break that adds 'menace' to the overall feel. One of the undoubted leaders of the hard techno scene, Darmec, steps up for remix duties and yet again shows us why he has scored so many Beatport #1's. He puts his own stamp on the release and adds that Darmec touch that we all love. Techno releases don't come much bigger than this, check it out!

My first remix for Neurodriver was an absolute joy to create! It came together in about 3 days, every idea just flowing forth without effort or hesitation. I am particularly happy with this track, and the dancefloor response has been overwhelming! I recently received feedback on it from none other than HYBRID who said it was "the most rocking track we've heard all year". Stoked! 

I hope you guys enjoy it, i'd love to hear your comments and views. It will be released on Broken Robot records mid-september.
