<p>The fast-rising Blue City Dub have gone full-throttle and whipped out three tracks for us this time. Kicking the EP off with the mechanized percussion of the title track, we are introduced to a commanding bassline over which discordant stabs and a mangled vocal come together to form this airtight number. &#8220;Back 2 Black&#8221; goes even tougher and shows its teeth via gritty synths and a grinding rhythm section. Taking the more subliminal route with &#8220;Streak&#8221;, the pulsating bassline and streamlined electronics ensure a jet-back ride into the night.</p>

On the A side sit the two original tracks . Urania is composed of a powerful techno groove on a simple but strong chord fitting perfectly on the climax of the middle of the track . Second comes ‘ Calliope ‘ , a Toms Due signature heavy rhythm with a happy techno synth melody , a must try for all dancefloors . On B side , Nikita Zabellin shows once again his minimal approach , pure analogue sounds with a bit of darkness. Micol Danieli´s chose to use a never ending rhythm that won´t ever leave you alone , a very elaborate arrangement . Keep an eye on this Italian lady producer !

Our Debut Transmission today is the Title track ‘Where You Went’  which features a soulful vocal lead, jagged percussions and pulsing subs that gracefully cut through a rich 2-step drum figure. Playing on a timeless and classic theme, S.K.T opts for a garage-gone-bass panache in this UK-tinged dancefloor weapon.

On the flip, the slow and groove-orientated ‘Hot Tainted Love’ sucks you into a jerry-rigged arrangement of rolling beats and a haunting spoken-word. Before the mid-section the female vocal shifts in intensity bringing with it a beautifully convoluted chord melody, inducing an almost dystopian state of trance - so good!
