After being part of the last various artists compilation « Form Sampler Beta » with their original soundtrack « Never » released at mid september, Cosmic Boys is back with a huge EP, named « The Day Before Ep », including Matt Sassari & Tres Jinetes remix. 

Born & raised in south of France, the duo Cosmic Boys’s dynamic and darkful approach to Techno music has impressed us a lot and fellow fans alike.
Motivated purely by their love of music, there are constantly perfecting their craft and have released previously on Minus, Hush, BLUF’In, to name a few as well as their own imprint Scander.

Still chasing talented remixers and supporting artists we believe in, we decided to add some remixes from the talented french Matt Sassari, u might know, and from a Spanish newly formed trio called Tres Jinetes aka Oscar Aguilera, George Privatti, Guille Placencia.

Jeff Sorkowitz proves he has been busy despite no clubs being open with this fine new 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea EP on the Andhera Records label. It comes with two originals and remixes from hedZup Records founder WLAD, and NYC based Ken Kelly.

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea opens up with a slick deep tech sound that has kinetic kicks and balmy pads smeared across the face of the tune. It's heady, cosmic tinged house for those who like detail. The WLAD remix is that bit more direct and stripped back, but still brings high class tech funk to the label with its slippery pads and punchy kicks.

Bacon Grease then pairs a classic vocal sample with superb high speed drum work, nice lush hits and sci-fi pads that bring depth and scale. It's a classy underground anthem make no mistake. Bacon Grease (Ken Kelly's 2AM Funkdown) then goes even deeper, with perfectly liquid pads layered up to nice trippy effect.

This is a high class EP once more from all involved.

Part 2 showcases an array of talented producers from far and wide as it focuses on its cultural and community-based vision. As a fresh label and growing brand, Techno Brooklyn Records is known to provide a futuristic and hypnotic techno sound that constantly captures the attention of ravers, fans and artists from all over the world. This time the likes of THD+N, Kriss Salas, Justiano, ErR0R and Saint Velez are amongst those that contribute to the 11 track opus.

PRØVOST kicks off with the hard hitting Mind's Eye, a slamming track with a futuristic feel thanks to the bright chords. Peaking from ErR0R is another hard hitting tune that is built on slamming kicks, while warped synths fire across the tune as if from a machine gun. There is hurried, dubby, atmospheric tackle from THD+N, face melting synth rhythms from Theo Nasa on JUJU MAN and then marching, heads down techno from Gioh Cecato. It's another wild and peak time effort from Yigitoglu while Saint Velez offers Perfect People, a far sighted and serene tune with thoughtful pads over relatedness drums.

There is a stark rave energy to Kriss Salas's Stray Dog, with its marching kicks and groaning pads, and things close out with heady techno from Secret Raver, unhinged late night emotions from Justiano and deep, bubbling techno power from KB95.

This is a widescreen selection of sounds that explore every facet of techno and get you feeling pumped up and ready for the rave.
