Night Shift

Recently, there was an untimely death in my close family.
       ....Is there such a thing as a ‘timely’ death? 
I have never dealt well with the notion of end-of-life. 
        ....Maybe, nobody does?
When the urn/ casket is ceremoniously placed in the ground, does the spirit/ soul/ essence/ consciousness of that unique individual live on in some unique manifestation?
         ....I want to believe that is the case.

Hence, the confusing musical/ visual message of this composition. 
If, in death, there is a transition to a new way of being, the interim unknown must be staggering.

I hope all our dear friends and family meet again, and share a beer, on the “other side”.

(Emotional Cinematic Violin 🎻 Type Beat) Hope

What am I looking at? A pulsar wind nebula! This nebula consists of  energy & particles blown by a pulsar (PSR B1509-58), left behind after a star exploded. Some see in it the "Hand of God". Some see it, some don't. Sometimes I see it, sometimes I don't.
What am I listening to? Another deep exploration into the nebulous realm of space music, created mostly on my modular system, but adding other keys/synths/effects where needed. This year's attempt at capturing something inspirational in audio images. Some hear it, some don't. Sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't. 
Recorded November21-July22. Album compiled August22.
