Kicking off our 4th year of TSM Reports with something completely different right now! This month we've got a juke/footwork mix by one of the Denver locals holding it down for this niche of quick and complex bass music, Wayzout. The mix does a great job of representing all sides of this style from the chaotic, disjointed and wild to the smoother, more forgiving and melodically focused moments. Expect the unexpected! Regular changes between 4 on the floor and broken beats, crazy intricate rhythms in the percussion, the heavily looped vocal cuts: all the hallmarks of this Chicago style of bass music are present. identities are nothing short of a name times a face divided by an attitude at the square root of the observer. art is a place where i can explore and express the different identities that create me. i am an artist, poet, scientist, athlete, inventor, theorist, student, feminist, naturalist, parent, sister, daughter, friend, and what ever else i decide to be today or in the future. so as i travel this long twisted road through this perceptive reality of my reference frame, least i can do is document it....Know most for her visual eye candy during concerts, festivals and parties, Jane also explores etherial audio, abstract media, circuit bent instruments and sound samples she collects during her live noise sets.

Erin Stereo is a Denver House DJ best known for igniting and delighting the dancefloor with expertly curated, highly energetic sets. She’s played everywhere from Bonnaroo to the local clubs, performed alongside titans of the DJ world and had her mixtapes prominently featured on Sirius XM and Apple Music.

Haus Catz is the DJ/production trio Tailspin, DJ PurRpLeXeD, and Pounces, and together their sound revolves around a wide-ranging palette of house, club, and techno - adding breaks, lo-fi, and leftfield sensibilities. Their debut Club Nip, Vol. 1 EP gained radio support from Baltra and Ouri, as well as Spotify Track IDs charting by Dameeeela, with their follow up Vol. 2 EP receiving advance support from M. Bootyspoon, DJ Plead, Benyayer / Dark Sky, and DJ Psychiatre.

Not only have they hosted multiple residencies around Denver, they throw warehouse parties from time to time and have featured the likes of Villager, Madam X, Hammer, Baltra, lau.ra, 1tbsp, and Kareem Ali. They’ve also supplied support for an array of underground talent, including Leon Vynehall, Ross From Friends, Ahadadream, Barry Can't Swim, and Will Saul. Recently, Haus Catz have been finalizing more original music that encapsulate the sound and spirit of their live performances - moody, groovy, and pspspsychedelic.
