Test 13: Why Can’t You Let Go? (A Little Bit More)

Week 6.
Track name: Showtime 🎙️

This one came out funky and bright — a hybrid of old-school house, R&B, and synthy future bass vibes. It’s got that dance pop energy, but still warm enough to feel like something you’d cruise to at sunset.

Most of it was built on top of a bouncing bass groove and melodic synth layers. Kept the energy light and playful on purpose — needed a reset after the more emotional drop last week. Didn’t overthink this one. I let the sound carry the message.

As always, made in a few hours… but crafted with real intention.

Showtime

Took a different approach to this one doing a little panning at the beginning with the synth, bass, and drums.  Being an electrician and hearing some of my co-workers talking about their crazy evenings lyrics just came to mind on my way home from work one evening always driving about an hour one way to get back and forth from work so gives me some time to think things through sometimes.  Anyhow hope you guys enjoy this one.
