Could It Be…

Navigating life can be like a game of tug of war with our dog... (especially on election day within the USA,) where he and the folks with whom we interact don't care about anything but, what's their immediate want or need... with no consideration of others or future generations with regard to BEing able to live a healthy, safe, prosperous life. Instead, we'd rather not admit our complacency and thereby... our culpabilities towards why things occur the way they do as to why there are still wars, famine and more rampant and ferocious diseases... despite many professing we live in the information age, are superior species, etc. Funny how we are failing to see the reasons for these things slapping us in the face essentially, while we continue to simply watch our friends, families, and Mother Nature become more ill and die from unnatural, preventable causations... each day, each month, each year. Even more funny, how those encouraged to "speak the truth" are then... ridiculed, mocked, bullied, and belittled for taking a stand to do so. It's done under the guise we must "Be kind..." the new age way of saying "Sit down and shut up... we just want to enjoy spending the money we made off the backs of those we're now killing." Even the ACLU receives up to 8% of their budget from companies with whom their litigants are then encouraged settle disputes and to sign nondisclosure agreements. (It might be more than 8%, by now.) Transparency would be for it to be illegal for any "gag order" to be placed on any lawsuit settlements whether inside or outside of courtroom proceedings.

Original version of this song composed and written by New Zealand Frontman for the band Crowded House, Neil Finn, and released in October 1986 as the fourth single from the album of the same name. I'm quite obviously NO Tribute Band or Performer in that sense. Yet, always loved this tune and sketched it in my own AcoustaTronic style, even though well outside of my wheelhouse. It's how I learn and attempt to improve my own original songwriting and production.  Appreciate plays and feedback, but only intended for enjoyment and with all due respect to the Original. I make no money from my musical meandering, but put forth best efforts regardless.

At the beginning there was the word, I'm not sure, but here it is. Be fantastic and ride! People around the world, artists, musicians, vocalists, participate in your own way, style and language. Spread and connect. Be riders in the storm!

The idea is creating a grid, everybody can connect wherever she/he likes, at any station of the net, with his/her music and words of love and peace, anybody can use any part of the whole and remix, develop, conbine, connect, where he wants, all is open to all - if we all make it downloadable it works. To become familiar with the supreme discipline, shake hands with the enemy, intervene/look in the word of love, open my heart's well into space and forgo the normal, forget what was normal, put my now, the catastrophic, into the light, entrust, surrender, take the sickle off the neck, part the fire from the flames, say goodbye to the usual, I will go this way.
