Established in 2018, Suffragette City is a not-for-profit Manchester-based club night held annually to mark International Women’s Day. They raise funds for local grassroots charities supporting women and gender expansive people while creating events for all genders that are full of positivity, solidarity and mischief.

This May 10th, they’re bringing their friendly Manchester vibes to London for an afternoon of excellent music and community at our friends The Social, 5 Little Portland Street where Suffragette City residents Kath McDermott (Flesh at The Haçienda/Homo Electric), Ghost Assembly (Abigail Ward), and Ladybeige (The Social Service) are joined by Sounds of the Universe’s Vandorta.

I’m afraid I live on Mixcloud. 

Abigail Ward is a DJ, artist and musician from Lancashire, UK.

She produces music under the name Ghoßt Assembly.

As a DJ Abigail thrives on creating absorbing multi-genre musical road trips that are guaranteed to elicit an emotional response, be that on a dancefloor, at an art gallery or in your headphones.

Twelve years as a counter jockey in Manchester’s best-loved independent record shops, Piccadilly Records, Vinyl Exchange and Kingbee inspired her open-eared eclecticism. A well-schooled crate digger, she excels at stitching together oddball tunes from disparate sources and is not afraid to slice up tracks in software in pursuit of the perfect audio collage.

Her abiding musical passions include rare soundtracks, krautrock, deep soul and reggae, and she is equally at ease banging out underground house in a sweaty club, or live-streaming a leftfield pop set from her studio in Hulme. The thread that runs through all of her musical selections is a sense of mystery, melody and a certain voodoo groove.

Also a broadcaster of some repute, Abigail has curated sets for BBC 6 Music, NTS and Reform Radio. As a presenter she is celebrated as much for her subversive badinage as for her musical choices.

Abigail is a co-founder of Suffragette City, an annual large-scale club event celebrating female, trans and non-binary DJ talent, which raises funds for local grass roots charities.

Her most recent bookings include We Out Here, Factory International, Gottwood, The Golden Lion and Homobloc, where head honcho Luke Una described her thus:

‘She’s like a young Mancuso. Her selections are insanely magical. She’s got that thing. You can’t contrive that or buy or replicate it. It’s deeply esoteric and natural and perfectly balanced. One of the unsung heroes.’

He is striving to create a sexy hypnotic and melodic sound in his sets and taking things to the next level.His Favourite instrument is ''bass'' with influences from Funk,90's,House,Dub.
Louie started playing in the East of Athens [Corinthia],The Beginning was at friend's parties and many casual beach parties. Mixing all types of music louie manage to establish in the wide dance scene.After he try a different musical influences along the way.His years of gigs and trips try to listen and ‘’meet’’ more underground depend music..In the following last 10 years , he acquire useful experience next to honored artists from Electronic Scene like  ..(Petre Inspirescu , Mihai Popoviciu , Yousef , Hito ,Armen Miran, Carola Pisaturo ,Juliet Fox ,Mr Roussos , Echonomist  and more)He would rather flying under the radar as usual cause it's weirdo charachter.
