This collaboration between Skatebård, Philipp Lauer & DJ Sotofett dives deep into flux borders of italo, new beat and the melodic sides of industrial. A-side is contoured by a synthetic bassline riff on trigged drums & percussions for a full club version. B-side’s two tracks are both differently bass driven, one with live piano solo and the other with airy whistles. All tracks cleverly composed with a richness of melody, rhythm & engaging arrangements.

The evening was young but they all knew where it was headed. To infinity and beyond as they said, holding hands they walked between shadowy alleyways and amidst back streets in the company of friends. The dancefloor loomed, an endless escape from the trouble and strife of the daily cycle of repetition and denial. The same routine was fierce. Not before long they would find themselves sprawled out upon the floor, the afters at Gav's gaff was the blissful solution to an otherwise hectic situation. It was everything.

TEMPLE is a solo project from Adelaide based artist Ben Smith. Ben has spent the last decade running a record label, playing in bands, touring Australia and playing at festivals including Rainbow Serpent, WOMADelaide, Wide Open Space and Strawberry Fields Festival to name a few. Throughout this time Ben has been working on solo material, while writing and producing records for other people. It’s now finally time to share his musings with the world.

“This release has been 10 years in the making. There’s not a single track on it that has been made in the last 5 years. However, with my crippling anxiety of not finishing songs and sharing them with the world, it is only now in overcoming that anxiety that these tracks are finally seeing the light of day. I’ve struggled for years with judgment, creating the “perfect” (perfection is an illusion) song and being concerned with what other people will think about my art. 2020 was a year that I drew a line in the sand and said enough is enough - I need to share myself with the world, the good and the bad, and this hard drive full of music. For art not shared is simply self-flagellation”

PREMIERE : Temple - No Goal

Embarking the train to her destination she felt a pang of nerves, her belly churned frantically. After months of virtual back and forth, she'd built this face to face meeting up in her head, playing out all possible scenarios over and over. In her mind everything depended on this going well, she'd already decided this was her last chance.

Eltron's Dom Trojga imprint shares a sentiment about this year that will ring true with many: "despite it all, it was music that kept us going, that held us together while we were apart, that lit our hope, that coloured our days." In that spirit, for their fifth release they've brought together some friends and label artists, past, present and future, for their second V/A in the Domownicy Różnoracy series. Eltron's fellow Seltron 400 member SLG is back again for volume 2, and this time he's joined by several other talents from Poland's electronic music scene; jamaszka_FT, Evius, Botanica, and two debuts on the label from We Are Radar co-founder Olivia and Szum boss Charlie.

The machine whirred and kickstarted into life - strange sounds emerged from its core as shivers and rumbles echoed in the large empty warehouse in which they watched. A strange ambient, rhythmic performance was underway. It was enchanting to watch and listen to the bizarre sounds which emerged and meandered between all four corners of the large empty room. The sound bounced and radiated with electric precision and left each listener enchanted and spellbound. 

afinss is the Rhythmical Ambient project of Lootbeg & Bajazo a friend in need sound system. The pair have worked to produce a delicate new EP, an intriguing, atmospheric affair which comes recommended.

Skating around town he caught the eyes of passers by who looked him up and down as he whizzed on by. They knew little of his lifestyle or his joy. The wheels on his roller blades kept on spinning as he careered down the sidewalk and in amongst wandering traffic in the midst of rush hour. This was the grind and the day was only just beginning, soon he would travel all over the city, catching the eyes of thousands of lost souls. He was not lost however, he was found. 

Multiplex are set to release a rather special track by El Agua Es Profunda, a progressive odyssey which will delight dancers and listeners in equal measure. A feel good, positive track with uplifting pads and deep moving sensibilities. This is a special one for the twilight summers and late nights.
