A playlist full of tracks created by the writers, musicians and producers of our community of musicians, "The MusiCollective" - this is a special 'Best of' 2021 edition, and it features tracks previously released on our monthly playlists throughout 2021, with each artist picking (mostly!) one track to include. Massive congratulations to everyone involved in this as ever. All tracks are in alphabetical song title order, so no ranking whatsoever! We have a mix of complete recording newbies, seasoned pros and everything in between. All as incredible as each other, and it's been an absolute pleasure to hear all of your new music throughout the year.

The MusiCollective is a community of people that get behind each others' projects, for example by helping with songwriting, arrangements, recording and production. We recorded this using collaborative software that enabled us all to create together without being in the same room. This song is a celebration of what you can achieve in the face of adversity and it demonstrates the strength, resilience and power of music that remains unfaded despite what ever happens to be happening in the wider world. 

Massive credit goes to Jenni Grossmann for working long hours to get all the players together and for bringing the project from concept to completion with style and for making the video, which at first was funny, but then turned into something else (link to the video below) 

Further thanks goes to Guy Burton who did a long night at a mixing desk patching the pieces together and to Vikram Subhedar for mastering and polishing away the rough edges. Then to all the players
