Here is a song built on notes of a scale made proportionally to the fibonacci numbers. Each Fibonacci number was multiplied by 100 to get the figures in numbers of hertz that are audible.
So the frequencies we get from lowest to highest are:
100Hz, 200Hz, 300Hz, 500Hz, 800Hz, 1300Hz, 2100Hz, 3400Hz & 14440Hz. Any frequencies beyond this at this proportionality are not audible and I'm not making songs for dogs and dolphins just yet!

The first 5 notes of the scale offer nice harmony. Gets a bit if'ey above that but they are all in there, I just reduced the dominance of the higher notes for now until my ear knows and loves them enough to make them work.. These were voiced by an android frequency app and recorded to DAW from there. I then tuned my acoustic by ear (as far as I'm aware we dont have a tool to tune to this readily available) and played that open tuning along as best as focusing on the first 5 low hotes mainly. Then adlibbed a few choir like vox lines over

I purposely didn't look this up on the Internet when thinking of it. I wanted to discover it for myself and get my results. Now that I do search for it... Haven't found anyone converting it this way yet. Didn't look very hard but it seems most use it to reference existing concert pitch scale and they haven't tuned to the proportionality of it. Could be wrong and would love to be linked up to understand this a bit better if anyone knows good info on this 🙌🏽🔆

Work out if these are symmetrical extensions on the Fibonacci scale... or work out what frequencies the symmetrical extensions are and see if they are harmonious and usable... although need to think about this.. proportionality is gone when talking extensions so maybe forget these for now... Need to figure out how the extensions relate to nature and not just finance...

Am back to making regular music now but sorry no Christmas songs this year. This time of year is very hard for me as it is when my father became very ill and died in the new year 2010. I still miss him very much but hope he would be proud of my musical journey, he is my number one inspiration.
Just a quick personal note on AI and music. I think it is not a good thing for the creative side of music and a lot of it comes without feelings or soul. Creativity is a gift, and should be greatly valued, cherished and nurtured. Music is what makes us human and can never be replaced by a computer.
Finished remastering up to and including 2023 now. Has been a mammoth task but well worth the effort. Next year I shall be working on a remastered series of my pre KORG days 2000 to 2008, in 8 volumes, as well as celebrating in style my 10 years of KRONOS magic, can't wait for 2025.
Have now amassed over 1000 tracks on SC (that's over 8000 minutes of music) and it has been a blast sharing them with you all. Next year 2025, marks the 10th anniversary of the start of my KORG journey.
Am currently putting together a remastered Anthology collection of all my best tracks from 2015 onwards. 2015 consists of a 3 volume set (Now available on Bandcamp). 2016 consists of a 4 volume set. I have been lucky to have music in my life, and now the time to explore how it can affect other people. I have discovered many new talented artists on SC and am happy to encourage and support their work; from small beginnings come great things. Am spending a lot more time on my music now since retiring from work in July 2020. Always learning new techniques and honing my craft. Am comfortable now with all chord sequences throughout the scales and loving improvising with the help of my mighty KORG still. Am still trying to give my full support and encouragement to all SC users and some latest (you know who you are), are developing nicely. Be good to one another, be gracious to others, leave your ego out of your life and above all else remember there is always someone worse off than yourself.

Hello! I’m a university professor of history who enjoys playing guitar and piano/keyboard, and occasionally composing — unpretentiously, just for fun.
Most of my recordings (made with a KorgD8, Audacity, and more recently Reaper for MIDI and the Spitfire Audio libraries) are entirely homemade and decidedly imperfect.
My music includes old songs (all written back in the last century; here I’ve only shared the ones I’ve reworked in recent years) as well as both old and new instrumentals — usually in several versions, some of which eventually disappear because they’re simply unlistenable.

Thanks for stopping by and giving something a listen; in the description you’ll often find explanatory notes or translations of the lyrics.
Here I’ve discovered a community of talented musicians and songwriters, and plenty of beautiful music to enjoy. Whenever I like, comment, or repost a track, it’s always the result of attentive listening.
