Here’s a beautiful recording of the Karaniya Metta Sutta, the classic Buddhist source-text for Metta, or Loving-Kindness - and the theme of the upcoming Triratna Urban Retreat. It’s chanted in Pali by Joe Richardson at the end of Triratna’s 2012 International Retreat, as the Buddhafield team gathered under canvas at the end of the retreat.

Karaniya - Metta - Sutta - Buddhist Song in Pali Language

This is one of my mum's favourite instrumental tracks. I wrote this sing about a small fictional kingdom, which always gives a small gem everytime a child is born to symbolise how precious they are.

And when Orion and Julius are born, the emperor of the kingdom, gives their mother 2 jewels, one for each child. The Rubies bestowed upon the children signified that they were to be hunters when they grew up.

Noahs Boat ft. Ghost Dust - The Moon and Me

Kumea Sound releases new album "Real Music for Unreal Times: Vol. 2".

The fourth album by the Finnish composer and sound artist Lauri Wuolio is a follow up to his similarly titled album from 2015. Recorded during the spring of 2020, the album is a hopeful reflection on physical and psychological emptiness and distances the world has been experiencing during the coronavirus lockdown.

Handpans and various string instruments (such as jouhikko, viola da gamba, cello, double bass) blend seamlessly together with electronic ambiences, many of which were produced with the experimental Russian synthesizer Soma Lyra-8.

The album, which could be described as ambient chamber music from the future, may remind of the works from Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds and Arve Henriksen, but it follows its own musical language and logic. It is melancholic yet comforting ambient work for these troubled times.
