Held a residency on the Modulations podcast and broadcast 'The Electric Lounge' radio show for two years. Musical inspirations: too many. Forged in late 89 sweatboxes in Manchester...But it ain't where you're from, it's where you're at.

maxiu's first introduction to club culture was from China's booming underground club scene, spinning regularly at hotspots DADA Beijing and MAO Livehouse. After a stint in Pittsburgh’s queer techno scene and playing multiple times in Detroit, he aims to showcase those cities with selections of world club and electro in his mixing, and focuses on textures and sculpting futuristic soundscapes.
