Pianeti Sintetici ('synthetic planets' in Italian) is a new conceptual project by Davide Perrone (Primal Code) that draws inspiration from the factories of Magrathea, a planet in Douglas Adams' classic space opera The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where artificial planets are manufactured on commission.

“This concept has always fascinated me, and I chose the name to frame a hypothetical future of synthetic worlds, told with sound,' Davide says. 'I like to imagine the howls of creatures inhabiting solar systems outside our own. Rarefied atmospheres, alien sequences, and unfamiliar tonal scales. So, I see Pianeti Sintetici as an open-ended design research project where I can explore these inspirations.”

Pianeti Sintetici already has three stand out releases on the legendary Hypnus records and has played a string of mind bending shows, including this mix, which is a live set from the 2023 edition of Positive Education. Tune in for high fidelity alien psychadelia teased over hypnotizing interstellar grooves 👽👾🛸

Tammo Hesselink likes to play around with many different rhythms. In terms of both what he makes and what he spins, he is drawn to stripped-back building blocks that allow him to get creative and find new sounds in what he combines. Whether that's the bass-driven swagger of UK sounds or the more psychedelic and loopy end of techno, what he does is mix it all into something unpredictable yet compelling.

Dub Techno Mixtape 51

Josep Berruezo, also known as Berru, is a devoted techno enthusiast. In 2012, he founded Estratechno, a collective that helped shape Barcelona’s underground scene through more than 30 club nights and free parties. He later curated Escapepodcast (2018), a genre-fluid radio show spotlighting emerging local talent.

As an artist, Dj Berru is deeply influenced by Detroit techno, but he also explores deeper and more hypnotic sounds that can range from ambient to breaks or even dub. He also performs as The Option B, a moniker under which he reviews the history of electronic music through acid-house, electro, jungle or synth-pop gems.


About the recording:
This set was recorded live at LAUT (Barcelona) last February during the first Selene series party. It was a special night for Dj Berru, a true fan of the project curated by his longtime friend and mentor, DOC, who was also playing along with Shoal.
When asked about the inspiration behind this set, Dj Berru is concise and clear:
'DOC has always taken a genreless approach to his mixes on Selene Series. I wanted to pay tribute to that by capturing the essence of the sounds he’s been showcasing all these years within 90 minutes. Revelation of Sounds is pleased to present Noah Lyas. Noah grew up in a house where music was the dominating factor. With passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children and with a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts and writing music.
Later in life, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Noah started to make music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.
In August 2020, his first EP called “Before the Horizon” was released on Profundo Collective. He started this collective with the aim of forming a record label and to come together as a collective to share the love for profound music with each other and organizing label events as well.

Here is how Noas' friend describes his music art (and we fully agree with this statement!):

“In the depths of silence, we can feel the resonance of these rhythms, pulsating within the core of our being. They remind us of our roots, anchoring us to the timeless cadence of existence. In embracing profound rhythms, we find harmony within ourselves and with the world around us, dancing to the eternal song of creation”.

natural/electronic.system. are Antonio Giova and Valerio Gomez de Ayala, a dj/producer duo from Naples, Italy. Both inspired by electronic music since the end of the ’90s, they were later influenced by the florid Neapolitan house/techno scene and inspired by the foreign djs coming to perform in Naples clubs. Over the years they became keen on the old and modern sound coming from another Italian city, Rome, where they started connections with local musicians such as Donato Dozzy, Neel and others.
Antonio and Valerio have been a force within techno’s underground since 2004 when they decided to found the natural/electronic.system project, gaining respect through their much revered podcasts for cult websites such as mnml ssgs and Smoke Machine, as well as their international dj sets.
They have a real ability for building their sets, allowing the music to breathe and slowly develop. Their sound explores the deep, psychedelic potentialities of techno, tinged with experimental and dub sensibilities, their track selection is impeccable, as is the pacing of their sets.

"Create chaos in the dancefloor, with a purely underground style and deeply inspired by parallel and psychedelic feelings. Compactness, depth and density of sound and much adrenaline going to merge into a propulsive progression, a classic sound but never granted. 
Giuseppe started DJing in 2001. A few years later he starts his career in the studio producing Hardcore, achieving international success and performing at major festivals, mainly in the Netherlands.
In 2014 he produces something different from the usual, something he had long desired for. And thus D-Leria came to life releasing several EP’s developing his new style, until joining the young label Delirio as both a musician and a manager, hosting artists such as Stanislav Tolkackev, Roberto Bosco, Plaster, Retina.it and more, with the aim of spreading a single message: the live recording.
In September 2017 he moved to Berlin to find new ideas and continue working on his first album 'Driving to Nowhere' which took five years of production.
The album immediately gained the attention of many artists such as Shifted, Donato Dozzy, Svreca, Neel, Marco Shuttle, Reeko, Refracted and many more, allowing the artist to join some year later labels such as Avian, Semantica, Camera Magmatica, Aura Dinamica and more. 
In 2020 he released on various compilations such as: 
'World Wide Window' (along with 55 other artists including Alessandro Cortini, Donato Dozzy, Neel and Caterina Barbieri) 
'Speed + Noise pt. 1' on Aura Dinamica,
'Curated by Neel' on Camera Magmatica.
Also remixing as 'Delirio' artists like Doris Norton, Svreca and Marc Acardipane (in collaboration with Gabber Eleganza) 
Particularly interesting his live hybrid where, together with 2 turntables using various drum machines, manages to always create something new in real time, being able to completely rid, managing every single parameter, rhythm and melody with the use of its hands knowing how to use their imagination and pulling it out using instruments so different from each other. A mix of genres, groove, feelings that have in common the same adrenaline rush that you notice in each set and in its production."
